Why is a bank involved in this? Will they get all the data to misuse it? -
Thailand’s first F1 race planned for Bangkok’s Chatuchak by 2027
OneMoreFarang replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I didn't say it's impossible. But looking at the existing traffic every day, how will it look like if they close many streets? And then how will it look like if many people (try to) visit that event? Chaos and more chaos. Do we really need that?- 107 replies

Is there anything good about getting old?
OneMoreFarang replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The question was and is: Is there anything new you are looking forward to? Sure, it's nice to see another sunrise, maybe have a nice meal and see friend. But is there anything in life which is better when you are 70 and not 50? -
Is this the ideal life for a 30 year old Australian? Living in Isaan?
OneMoreFarang replied to sipi's topic in Isaan
I should have written that this is of course just an estimate. The point is, there are many many people with many many different ideas for their lives. -
Is this the ideal life for a 30 year old Australian? Living in Isaan?
OneMoreFarang replied to sipi's topic in Isaan
According to AI, there are 195,640 male Australians who are currently 30 years old. Is there something like an ideal life for all of them? IMHO we should all try to do what we like to do. We are all different. -
Is there anything good about getting old?

I left this question unanswered for a reason. Obviously depending on our age, we define "old" differently. -

I am not so sure if that is true with old guys in Thailand. I met this wonderful woman, she loves me, I built a house. It's all in her name but we love each other so much. Yeah, sure... -
“Coconut Girls” Brawl Outside Pattaya Police Station
OneMoreFarang replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Just put a fence around them and charge 100B to everybody who want to observe them. Cat fights under coconut trees or something like that. Maybe another hub for Thailand. -
Do Thais really attack foreigners for no reason?
OneMoreFarang replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I never had any problems like that in Thailand - or anywhere else in this world. But I avoid trouble. I remember once I was with the Thai family in a park on a lake. I think I was the only farang at there at that time. All was fine in daytime. People slashed in the water, had some food, fine. But later in the day some guys in a group near us got more and more drunk. And that is unfortunately a situation which can possibly get difficult. We left (not in a hurry) to avoid any conflict. Obviously, misunderstandings are a major problem. I heard more than once that a farang said: My Thai is good enough to get into trouble but not good enough to get out of trouble. I think there is a lot of truth in that. We can joke, have some fun, all is fine. And then someone misunderstands a joke. And then? Are we able to explain to them that it was just a joke, relax? And then there are of course those farangs with the big mouth fu@# this and fu@# that. Maybe they get away with that at home. But many Thais don't like that language. -
Jurassic theme park to roar into Asiatique in Bangkok
OneMoreFarang replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
I saw Asiatique first when I was on a river cruise. Then we visited it later. What a rip-off! It seems to me it's made for tourists with too much money. Does anyone local go there twice because it's such a nice place? I have my doubts. -
How many Thais did you ask these questions? If I would want to know why this is the way it is, I would ask my Thai girlfriend, or other Thai people who I see regularly. It seems to me sometimes people ask questions here to rant about what they don't like - and I understand that. But if you really want answers, then don't ask farangs in a farang forum. Ask Thai people.

NACC Launches Probe into Thaksin’s Alleged Hospital Fake-out
OneMoreFarang replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Maybe they will even find someone who did something wrong. And maybe they will punish that person. But it won't be Thaksin. We can't undo that he is a free man again and that he didn't spent any time in jail. -

I have no issues with ladies chasing me. Mostly the old and ugly and desperate. I prefer the innocent cuties who are too shy to chase anyone. -
NACC Launches Probe into Thaksin’s Alleged Hospital Fake-out
OneMoreFarang replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
He divided Thailand like nobody else in recent history. He is responsible for the violent red-shirts. He is ultimately responsible for the last two coups. Never forget! -
I guess this is somehow why they do it the way they do it. They spent a day chatting with each other and also doing a little work at the same time.

And obviously you see the same wall, just the other side of it. Do you like that view? I understand that you want to set your rules. But is living in a bunker not a little restrictive?

Do you have any evidence that they are thinking? qed
