  1. That's why it's a good idea to have a small bike in Bangkok. Even a 150cc has enough power to ride in the city. And it's mostly easy to ride between the cars.
  2. Is it? What do you think would have happened if Monty Python would have even thought about such a movie today? They all would have been canceled. The woke would probably demanded the death penalty for all those traitors.
  3. You will find many answers here: https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/cooling/air-conditioners/buying-guides/air-conditioners
  4. Thanks. I just answered a comment from above and added the same video. I remember how we laughed about that at that time. And nobody though there could ever be a time when people would take this serious. I guess it's another sign that I am getting old that I don't understand this modern world anymore.
  5. Thanks. I was not sure how to interpret your post but I though I will find out. Now you clarified it. Thanks. One reason that I started this thread is because it feels so surreal. If anybody would have predicted something like this a few years ago nobody would have believed it could happen. And I thought I am sure people like to discuss this and it will be an interesting topic here. It seems I was right. And just to p$#$# off the woke a little more, here something from the good old times. ????
  6. No! He accepts that as long as people talk to each other that there will be times when people are offended. And that is not a problem! That's the moment to talk some more. People solve their problems peacefully by talking and trying to understand each other. Cancelling someone and someone's opinion stops conversation. And what happens after people stop talking to each other to resolve problems? You should be able to figure it out and then maybe you should think again if talking, even if some people might be offended, is maybe the better alternative.
  7. Why is he a "bigot"? Or is that just the word woke people call all those others who don't agree with them?
  8. Now imagine twitter would also be down, and maybe facebook. The horror!
  9. Take a look at my girlfriendShe's the only one I gotNot much of a girlfriendI've never seem to get a lot
  10. Not long ago I thought about the same. But recently all this woke ideology is all over the place, at least on the internet and "the west". Looking at news it's impossible to not hear or read about it. Personally I have no problem if some people are gay or lesbian or whatever. But those activists are a big problem. And the activists make life difficult for many people. Jordan Peterson had to resign his job as a professor because of these activists. And not because he spread misinformation but because he asked questions. But those woke activists don't want to answer sensible questions. They want that you follow their "religion". And because this situation is getting worse all the time I think it's good when more people see what is happening. Then more people can articulate if they agree with those woke activists or if they agree it's time to speak up against them.
  11. I didn't follow the history of that person. But it seems at some time was a women and had breasts and then she didn't have breast anymore and called herself a man. Someone must have removed those breast and I would be surprised if that story was not reported in detail on other media or maybe even by that person on fb or instagram or something like that.
  12. Someone has a wonderful answer to that one. ????
  13. Jordan Peterson talking about Jordan Peterson is not an approved source? I am confused.
  14. That clearly points to a bad connection. That is a common problem. And you found already a workaround, the extension.
  15. There is not one specific answer. It could be one of several possible problem. Just go to a service center and let them check it. Last week the Samsung table from my gf didn't charge. They told me if it wasn't on warranty then they would charge 250B (about) to check what the problem is. I think that is cheap and much better than guessing. I don't know about other companies but I guess they won't charge a lot more than that.
  16. It likely tripped not because of an overload but because the current didn't go where it should go. The reason could be a damaged cable, or moisture, a (little) faulty device, etc. The reason could also be that the RCBO does not work correctly, maybe it's too sensitive. It seems you are not the electric specialist and for that reason you could make dangerous mistakes if you try to fix this yourself. Better hire an electrician, and a real one who knows what he is doing. First thing you could do is switch off some devices like your fan and look if the problem only happens if the fan is on.
  17. And when you press that little button the switch should go off and then you don't have any electricity anymore (in your house). That's the way it's supposed to work. So make sure you don't do that in the dark. If it switches off the way it's supposed to then you can just press the lever up again and the light will go on again. On some of these things the lever needs a lot more pressure than you might think it needs. That is normal. And if you press that small button and nothing happens then that is bad. Then the protection does not work. And then it's time to talk to an electrician ASAP to get this fixed.
  18. Just in general About 1: Buy LED lights, they use a lot less electricity than other lights. Make sure you buy lights with the "correct" color. You can get white light with different color temperature. And with good or bad CRI values. So just "white" is not good enough and one white isn't the same as another white. About 2: They normally have a microphone, you don't need a connection to your sound system. I guess you are looking for something similar to this: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/rgb-colorful-tube-32-led-voice-activated-pickup-rhythm-strip-light-music-atmosphere-ambient-lamp-bar-for-car-party-computer-i3612731627.html
  19. We need some pictures of her and details about her talents to give you good advice.
  20. Even if you don't care about Peterson or Twitter it's still fun/crazy/alarming to watch this. Enjoy!
  21. Lots of things are safer than lots of other things. We all die. Sure, in Thailand the chance to die in a motorcycle accident is higher than in other countries, but the risk is still not high. There are also risks crossing the street, falling down a balcony and many other risks. I ride motorcycles in Thailand since over 20 years and I didn't have an accident with any injuries until now. Could it happen? Yes. But then, lots of things could happen. A bike makes life much easier in Thailand. I could afford a car, I don't want one.
  22. Maybe check for car wraps, just in case you change your mind later.
  23. Don't worry, I drink my whisky in Nana and Soi Cowboy.
