  1. Not everyone tells the truth, you'd have to be pretty naive to believe that they do.
  2. Possibly just as much as women lie for money. It's a dog eat dog world.
  3. Because money brings out the worst in people, they lie for it and kill for it.
  4. Of course a woman has never falsely accused a man of rape before.😉
  5. A 4 litre cask of Stanley red wine (real wine no fruit juice) sells for A$15 in Australia, same one here is over 1000 baht or A$44, obscene markup.
  6. My question was why didn't she report it when it happened? Too many women jump on the gravy train 20 years later when there's a likelihood of a big payout, eg, Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, Marilyn Manson, Rolf Harris etc.
  7. Already have one woman reporting he raped her 23 years ago, why didn't she report it then?
  8. Staying afloat for 7 hours without a floatation device, ie just treading water takes some doing.
  9. As the guru said, "get all the kicks you can baby, you only make this scene once".
  10. A drop of 30 baht on a bottle of 600 baht wine? Whoopee!
  11. Has anyone seen any actual reductions in the price of wine, or are the distributors/sellers just reaping extra profits?
  12. Been there, done that. My tastes are varied, but all music has lost it's enjoyment for me.
  13. Yeah, I've substituted music with shoplifting.
  14. Never said anything about Thai music.
  15. Thanks, but where are Seasons 4 and 5. Season 6 has already begun so it might be a bit hard to follow if missing two seasons.
  16. It's Mocro Maffia and it's available on Pirate Bay, but only Seasons 1 and 2, so I don't know where Seasons 3, 4 and 5 are available.
  17. I think I have the correct answer, and that is that the cap allows the light to be wired through the back.
  18. Got it working again, sprayed with WD40, either moisture or corrosion inside. The globe is a floodlight, but I want to replace it with a sensor light.
  19. Power connects via the base which is screwed to a wooden railing.
  20. I have three, all bought from Homeworks Pattaya at least 12 years ago, so not quite 70's vintage.
  21. There's a red dot on the cap which can possibly be punched out to allow a tighter fit for the cable. Thanks, I think that answers my question.
  22. Looks pretty much identical. Is the cap so the light can be wired from the back?
  23. A couple of squirts of WD40 inside the socket got the light working. I think there's been some corrosion as it's an outdoor light and been there for years. Now I want to try a LED sensor globe that turn on at dusk and off at dawn in the same socket, but need to order from Lazada.
  24. I have looked inside but all I see are a couple of wires, but that suggestion makes sense.
  25. Manually.
