  1. Had a bit of a saga with our 8 year old Schitzu cross. As reported before took him to local vet because he was vomiting up his food every day. They kept him 4 days on some kind of drip, antibiotics I believe, but when we picked him up he looked emaciated and dehydrated. He was ravenous and thirsty, so not sure if they even fed him when he was in their care, but long story short, he's still vomiting up his food. We have probably spent close to 20,000 baht with this vet, the dog has had many tests, x-rays, ultrasound, blood tests etc, but it's obvious they don't know what's wrong with him. In the beginning they said the problem was his prostate and said neutering would fix the problem, it didn't. It seems to be all about the money, not the dog's welfare. Anyone know what training a vet receives in Thailand, is it formal or is it just a crash course at the clinic?
  2. Never mentioned the pyramids, there are obelisks that weigh over 500 tons, one uncompleted was over 1000 tons.So get your facts right.
  3. Got the dog home after 4 days in the vet, given the all clear, gave him some fish and vegetables and 15 minutes later he started to vomit again. Losing faith with this vet rapidly. Bills forctests and drips etc already at around 20,000 baht. Wouldn't mind if they were actually fixing him.
  4. I never mentioned aliens, anywhere. Once again, half cocked.
  5. Sanding a piece of wood is a tad different than sanding granite I imagine. Quite honestly I'm sick of explaining the obvious to people. Form your own opinions, no skin off my nose.
  6. Believe it or not, up to you.
  7. I did say near darkness, and all info is readily available with a Google search.
  8. Must have been a breeze manoevering these huge boxes into their niches and then lowering them to the ground in near darkness. This is after dragging them 800 klms.
  9. Google search stone boxes at Serapeum, plenty of info and photos as well as Youtube videos.
  10. I never mentioned aliens, but the Egyptians used technology that's not easily explained. There is evidence of drill holes and saw cuts that show machining, not sand and rocks. Want to keep on with the pounding rocks and sand, have at it.
  11. After moving the stone from more than 800 klms away, these were constructed on site, which is underground, with the lid being from the same 100 ton block of granite. So they were constructed in near darkness. by some kind of torchlight. I know, anybody could have done it. BTW, there are 25 of these boxes.
  12. With pounding stones and copper chisels? I don't think so,
  13. Are you asking if I've ever chiselled out the guts of a 100 ton granite box with a copper chisel, then the answer is no.
  14. That's it then, problem solved!
  15. I was a wood machinist for many years, I was also a woodwork instructor at a rehab clinic in a hospital. Good enough?
  16. Never said that, but it was done by means unknown to us.
  17. My response wasn't to you. Already been proven that the construction of a ramp would be as massive as building the pyramid itself.
  18. You're preaching to the choir.
  19. You know nothing about ancient Egypt and I'm not going to give you a history lesson. Agree to disagree.
  20. How do you hollow out a 100 ton granite box using sand and a wooden block? Sorry, futile to discuss with people who have no concept of what's involved.
  21. I wasn't talking about moving it but hollowing it out with the same degree of accuracy and polishing it to a mirror shine. If you've never seen these objects you have no idea of the workmanship involved. They couldn't be made today with our advanced technology.
  22. What about 2000 tons? You're going to need a pretty long lever.
  23. Accuracy within thousandths of an inch? Do you have any idea how quickly a copper chisel get blunt when cutting granite? Stonemasons have tried, and failed to duplicate the ancient methods. Hey, if you believe this was all possible using those tools, be my guest.
  24. Not just moved, lifted metres into the air and placed with precision.
