"There are millions of Tomboys, ladyboys or other genders both here and back in our home countries."
There are 2 Sexes.
Within each Sex there is a wide range of Personalities.
There are feminine men, there are masculine women.
This is different than "Being born in the wrong body.".
I taped some 3M Filtrete (Lazada) over the top air inlet of my air conditioners and it works a treat on auto-fan setting, and costs not a lot.
There is an outdoors part of the ac unit with the big fan and an indoors part.
You guys tape the Fitrete over the top of the indoors unit?
OP - I was going to suggest this also.
A shop you go to regularly perhaps - when not too busy.perhaps - ask a young person to help you.
Many schoolkids may be happy to help while testing their English.
Also where to buy it if they have a store in Chiang Mai.
Besides working well, efficiency, filter replacements readily available, etc., also care about it being very quiet.
Thank you.
Some small Thai apts. have the kitchen sink on the balcony (with a cabinet underneath with a dish drying rack) and can make a tiny kitchen out there.
Not having a balcony you lose that.
@superal - "However on return to Hong Kong ( Air Asia flight was free as they brought him here )...".
Can this be correct?
1) Very unusual for Air Asia not to insist on seeing an exit ticket if flying internationally Visa Exempt.
2) The reason for #1 is that they don't want to have to fly someone back.
But I always understood that they do not give a FREE flight if the passenger is refused entry.
Amazing if that airline has ever given anything for free ever!
I found out the hard way that this shop is ONLY open Saturdays 9am to noon.
But worked out OK - Vision Center came up with an inexpensive solution to my current situation.
The owner of Vision Center is off on Thursdays and closed Sundays. He's there the other 5 days. Make sure he is there when you go.
Surprised no one commented on this:
"...and 117 foreigners were fined for not properly registering their accomodation."
I thought it's the owner's responsibility to register the lodger, and that the owner gets fined if that is not done.
