  1. TBH, I don’t really understand this thread—and it mildly freaks me out about getting older, especially if I were living somewhere really hot, like Thailand. <creeps away>
  2. As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding. Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood". That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect. Indeed, it has all but come. In numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century. So it begins and it was a long time in the making. Amerika - get out or get a gun it's gonna get bloody for sure.
  3. His parents were diehard MAGA - they spawned this monster - they have blood on their hands.
  4. We don’t know and in Christian thought, someone has right up to the moment they die to show real remorse and ask their Creator for forgiveness. Or maybe it’s all rubbish and we’re just animals with animal spirits, destined to end up as space dust. I tend to the latter, but if everyone felt that way it would really deflate the USA’s obsession with evangelicalism.
  5. Thats not how it works. Christianity has a get out of jail free card. Sorry Charlie was a true Christian so Tyler can still go to heaven after his last supper before he fries. I think you have mistaken this faith for Islam. Yes — according to the New Testament, even very serious sins, including murder, can be forgiven if a person truly repents and turns to Christ in faith. A few key points from Scripture: God’s grace covers all sin: “The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) Examples of forgiven murderers: The Apostle Paul admitted he persecuted and approved of the killing of Christians before he encountered Christ (Acts 7:58, Acts 9:1, 1 Timothy 1:13–15). Yet he was forgiven and became one of Christianity’s greatest missionaries. King David in the Old Testament committed both adultery and murder (2 Samuel 11). When he repented, God forgave him (Psalm 51). His story is used in the New Testament as an example of God’s mercy (Romans 4:6–8). Repentance is key: Forgiveness is not about saying “sorry” lightly, but about genuine repentance — turning away from sin, seeking God’s mercy, and submitting to Christ. Consequences remain: Forgiveness doesn’t erase earthly consequences. A murderer may still face justice or punishment in this life, but spiritually, they can be reconciled to God and receive eternal life. So, according to the New Testament, yes — even someone guilty of a heinous crime like cold-blooded murder can repent, receive forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and go to heaven.
  6. If he is a Christian and repents and asks forgiveness he can go to heaven and meet Charlie and shake his hand with Jesus looking beatifically on. Not sure about Morons though are they 'true' Christians ?
  7. And they don't like the Indians coming over 'here' and nicking their bar girls...
  8. A very good take from a British rapper of Asian origin on the flag debate and on what Britain in history means to them ...
  9. Parading vulnerable victims on a stage isn’t a solution it’s exploitative. Stoking anger and gathering mostly men to vent over divisive issues doesn’t help anyone; it just amplifies tension and leads nowhere positive. Tommy Robinson and his ilk are a dead end for the white working class, peddling nonsensical solutions and diverting good people away from addressing the real scourges in their lives and those of their children. If Robinson or any of their variants ever came to power, they would make this country worse, not better ask yourself, when you look at that crowd, would you really want to live in a country where these animal spirits ran wild? Meanwhile, figures like Musk, from their billionaire perches in the US, preach “fight or die” and stoke global division to serve their business interests yet never, not once, criticize China for its complete lack of free speech. He is a villain, an enemy within. The real threat to our society comes from globalist oligarchs, tech billionaires, and multinational corporations hollowing out our country, not the people whose voices we should actually be listening to. Real change comes from support, empathy, and holding the true power brokers accountable.
  10. As a lot of the marchers hate King Charles a muslim sympathiser and WEF net zero stooge apparently they can't sing THE National Anthem - so have to resort to Keir Starmer is a anchor (sic) and of course the classic Tommeee.Tommeee Robinson The acts I saw on fast forward on the main stage in Whitehall were absolutely dire if I had been there I would want my money back. I saw Tommeee being interviewed by Dan Wooton who was pouring scorn on Farage for telling l,ies about him and his acolytes. Beh Habib is now his man....
  11. Maybe they could go Thailand if they don't like England - it's what all the best folk do - sadly not me just yet. Did they get their country back and save the kids - anybody know ?
  12. This is my country. Last Friday, I received a problematic FIT test for colon cancer, which meant I had to book a colonoscopy at Lewisham Hospital. They got me in on Thursday. Six people were in the room none of them, as far as I could tell, were native British. Every single one was excellent at their job: friendly, professional, and reassuring. I got the all-clear. Enormous relief. Out of curiosity, I looked up the private cost £3,000. That’s the price of what I received for free, quickly, and with such care. That’s my country. I don’t need to “reclaim” it. It has always been here. But the self-styled “patriots” imposed a £150 billion cost of Brexit. So, when do I get my money back?
  13. Antifa march starts 12pm Rusell Square Simon - great line up of speakers.
  14. I never seen so much gammon in one place. Apparently King Charles loves muslims and is a WEF net zero stooge - so they may have some problem singing the National Anthem.
  15. Watching some of the livestreams loads of chants of Keir Statrmer is a w&&nker going out - I though it was for the kiddies ? Lots of cans in hand as well so probably the yobs will revert to type when the old bill wants them to go home at 6pm. My nephew is staying over to report on it I've got a small but perfect one day music festival in Forest Hill to go to with a multitude of different ethnicities and not a union jack in sight . Heaven. Great grift from Tommeee thouigh he has a meme coin out as well for the pump and dump for the idiots. If I wasn't outdoors I would be praying for heavy rain but as I am it would be an own goal.
  16. Assainating anyone who goes against him. Noted you are a fascist plain and simple. I'm against the Ukraine war but am certinly not on your 'side'.
  17. Err Tommy Robinson is SYL and I'm no supporter of Reform either - you're not that well informed as you think you are. Aren't you an admirer of Putin btw ?
  18. It's very sad that anybody gets killed violently and needlessly but this worldwide canonisation of what was essentially some internet clout chasing shock jock shows how unserious a nation the US has become. But when a nation elects Trump to be their leader twice that is self-evidient to anyone with half a brain.
  19. Your condescension doesn’t make your argument stronger it just makes it smug. The truth is that the Constitution does not exist at the whim of public opinion or partisan politics. While courts may interpret the scope of rights, the rights themselves are not granted by government but are recognized as inherent and inalienable. The Bill of Rights is explicit: government’s power stops where individual liberty begins. Attempts to “balance away” fundamental freedoms in the name of “public order” have historically led to some of the darkest abuses in American history. Calling people “conspiracy theorists” doesn’t change that it just shows you don’t have a serious counterargument. “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble…” Meanwhile you are on a witch hunt along with others attempting to limit the freedom of expression for those that use "hurty words" . If you were in London you could visit Stephen Yaxley-Lennon's Free Speech March today and hear the great man itself and Jordan Peterson and that woman who went to prison for saying we should burn down migrant hostels but you can't because you live in Thailand a well know free speech haven. I could as I live in London but have better things to do.
  20. Why all this hate from Trump supporters? Anger turns into hate, hate turns into violence and violence is what killed Charlie. Jesus’ resounding message was one of love and forgiveness, a path to redemption that these nationalist “so-called Christians” with their Trump Bibles don’t seem to grasp. As Christ said: “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you” (Matthew 5:44).
  21. That’s not how constitutional rights work they’re absolute and inviolable. Then again, as a Trump supporter, I wouldn’t expect you to know that.
  22. I'm not sure free speech Charlie would be happy with all this woke cancel culture. And now he is with his saviour Jesus he will learn about forgiveness from the man himself.
  23. I often do and it does indeed keep you sane.
