My MG HS PHEV came with 5 years of free servicing. I have not paid anything at all in 2 years, not sure it’s saved me a great deal, but makes the experience a bit more pleasant. They put it on charge when it’s finished being washed and I can monitor the state of charge on my app and decide when to pick it up. -

AION Goes Global With Thailand Overseas Debut https://www.thaipr.net/en/auto_en/3352676 AION, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) giant, has signed its first memorandum of understanding for business cooperation with Gold Integrate, its first overseas distributor. “Thailand is the largest automobile manufacturer and exporter in Southeast Asia. It is also the region’s largest electric vehicle market, with the EV industry supported by positive government policies such as tax and fee reductions, consumer cash subsidies, and investment support. All of these factors make Thailand an attractive location for investment and HQ” -

I attended a couple of sustainability energy shows during my house build. They were less Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and more Business-to-Business (B2B) lots of Chinese manufacturers looking to sell solar panel racking etc. -

At the Bangkok motor show it seemed to be mostly women looking at the Dolphin. BYD probably had this in mind by choosing and pinkie purple colour. The 0-100km/h time maybe slow, but being an EV it will have instant torque which will probably fine for BKK traffic. -

Happy to see a review by someone who has actually seen the car. TG did say the car tested was not the UK spec car and “TG will test again when the car is in the UK and update our findings” -

@Issanman - this guy always gets quoted by EV haters. He never has anything positive to say about any EVs. We have already discussed the the Dolphin and MG4 and the consensus was the MG4 was the better car. This guy clearly hasn’t even see this car in person or he would have posted his own pictures not pics that he found on the internet. Are we really supposed to take a reviewer seriously when they haven’t even sat in the car! I have seen this car in person and can say that it’s very roomy inside far more so that an equivalent sized ICE car as it has wheels at the corners. Pictures that I took at this year’s Bangkok Motor show: . -

The picture I posted is from the BYD Thailand website. It looks exactly the same as the Chinese market one I sat in at the BKK motor show in April. The picture on the BYD Thailand app is also the same.
