I'm with you. Since this has been on the Q and A from the Department of Consular Affairs for a long time, why should they track you down? -
Gov’t aims to grow more mangrove forests to curb air pollution

Very good idea that will help fight erosion. But it is usually easier and cheaper to protect what you have, than restore what's been destroyed. -
As in title, is the Phuket smart bus running? I seams to remember that it use to have a homepage where it was possible to see where it was on the road. I can't find it now. Maybe my google skills are going down the drain. Anyone who knows if it is running and have a link to that web-page? If it exists. Thanks in advance.

Did you read what it says in the wiki you linked to. Taiwan is a"sovereign state" So could you please read what I wrote again and tell me exactly what I got wrong. If I have my facts wrong, I'm happy to learn new thing. The South China Sea disputes involve both island and maritime claims within the region by several sovereign states, namely Brunei, the People's Republic of China (PRC), Taiwan (Republic of China/ROC), Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. -

Funny, I had it that Taiwan was an independent country, where the people in free and democratic elections has expressed the will of the people to stay independent of China. If the world hadn't excepted China's occupation of Tibet. The problems we see now, would't be here. -
Documents to show at airport
bokningar replied to WalsallRobbo's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
May I ask if you came to Bangkok or Phuket and if the flight was full? Was reading some reports of half empty flights here before. -
I would say that "could" is the important word here. If and when we still don't know.

Thailand need more competition on the telecom market not less IMHO. A HIGHLY CONCENTRATED MARKET - LACKING COMPETITION The three operators, AIS, TRUE and DTAC – enjoy complete market dominance with a combined 96.39% market share of the 94.32 million total mobile connections in the market. The Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) is 3,390 – showing a highly concentrated market lacking competition. https://www.yozzo.com/insights/thailands-mobile-market-end-of-year-2020/

Thanks for fast replay. I’m heading to Phuket, so no packages. Testing done at the airport, and you must book the test yourself. I think this might be something started with the “sandbox”. I have read that the Phuket airport would like to get the testing out of the airport. Even transport seams a bit different. 1 hotel asked if I would take their 500 thb transport if I wanted it. The other one first told me they had free transport. The came back saying the rules changed and I need to pay 250 if I would like to use what they could offer. Still not demanding it to be used. You have some very valid points. What would be the paperwork that they will give me? So the system works that the hotel direct you to a quarantine hospital? My insurance will cover up to 150 US per night up to 14 nights in case of quarantine needed, so I wouldn’t like to end up bad place. Location is of interest but right paperwork and not being sent to an old prison (as I read they have in Phuket as one quarantine place) would be paramount. Did your hotel inform you where the quarantine would be id tested positive?

Hi Sheryl Even it sounds quite reasonable that you should stay at your room until the test result arrives. I can't find the wording about that in the info I'm reading. It talks about stay at the hotel. Or I might have missed something, wouldn't be the first time. Would you have a link please? Not much of a point booking a place with a nice swimming pool if you are looked up in a room. This is what I have found, maybe I'm just looking to hard for a way to be able to sit by the pool and not in a room. - SHA+ hotels/accommodations are hotels that meet the “Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration” standards and are eligible to be used as hotels under the Sandbox Programme and as venues to wait for your RT-PCR result under the Exemption from Quarantine scheme.

The glaciers on the poles are not in any danger at all. The polar regions have very short summers and long cold winters. When the world is getting warmer the air will get more moist in it. And it will come down as increased snowfall over the poles. The glaciers on the alps and so on might melt. But the glaciers on the poles, no one have to stay sleepless over. The big problem that no one is talking abut is the increase of the population. We get a bit short of 100 million more people every year on this planet. Turn all aid into condoms and other kinds of birth control. Maybe education of women as well. That seams to reduce number of kids. -
Thailand Pass - quick query
bokningar replied to AlbionBob's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They answer but it takes a long time. You need to contact AIG in UK and ask them to send you Proof of Insurance. They handle the insurance for Emirates, so Emirates can't send this. They need your ticket number, Booking number is not enough. They will then send the Proof of Insurance via email. Good luck and happy travels
