  1. When one door closes, another opens.
  2. Still, you'd have to pay me a buttload of money to be his food taster.
  3. “The participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream — a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information,” https://wibc.com/103360/time-magazine-bombshell-the-shadow-campaign-that-saved-the-2020-election/ The original TIME article is blocked here, but maybe you can link it? https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/
  4. There's a great YouTube by physicist Sabine Hossenfelder that explains it pretty well. It's titled My dream died, and now I'm here. I can't post a link because YouTube's blocked here, but it's easy enough to find by artist and title. I downloaded the video and that's how I know the title. Basically, she discusses the process behind getting funding to do meaningful research in physics, and how it's been corrupted by corporate money. She specifically talks about physics, but it's the same with health care, and pretty much any subject where there are corporate and political interests controlling which research gets funded and which gets squelched.
  5. Biden cusses like a sailor at his staff behind closed doors and Harris treats her staff so bad that 92% of them quit. Then they go out in public and act completely differently, to get the votes. There is absolutely no sincerity. No integrity. That's one of Trump's strengths. What you see is who he is. People get the sense he's the same behind closed doors as he is when they see him in public. No surprises... The clowning around, even inappropriately, is baked into his support. So are the mean tweets.
  6. Even a $$ billion warchest can't make her look good. Which isn't lost, even on SNL last night. I can't link because it's blocked here (and I only got to read the transcript). Probably worth a look... It's on my list 'o stuff to click on when I get to Thailand next week, where it's not blocked.
  7. Good on Ms. Swift, and I mean that sincerely. Binging up "Feeding America" doesn't show any red flags like Binging up some other charities in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. (Google's blocked here) So hopefully, it'll go where she intends it, to help hurricane victims. BTW: https://www.wjhg.com/2024/10/10/trump-houses-200-linemen-his-miami-hotel-hurricane-milton-response/
  8. That's true. But it does allow some of us to put you guys in the same category as skankhunt42. I don't have an ignore list, but I do have posters I don't bother to respond to. Not on a serious basis anyway. Admittedly, I will occasionally toss ya'll some chum.
  9. Which begs the question, why are you posting so much on a Thai centric website? If you changed your residence address, you have to change your DL within a specified time, or it's no longer valid. Ask me how I know that...
  10. I disagree with you on one point. Had the 2 opposing riders been in a car with seatbelts they'd be arguing over damages, not dead and in a hospital. In that respect, it's all about the choice of transport mode.
  11. As you should have been, once you no longer maintained Texas as your residence. How does Texas know you weren't (and aren't) also voting in other jurisdictions?
  12. So you don't think Pizzagate was put out there to deflect attention away from P Diddy's parties?
  13. It's worthy of note that the guy who drove 2 tons of steel with seat belts walked away. The scooter drivers? Nope. If you can afford 2 tons of steel and seat belts, seems like that's a lot safer. Regardless of your ninja like riding skill level.
  14. It's obvously implicit in what you wrote. For instance "ban combustible engines". What authorities have proposed banning combustion engines in the short run? Or "no more ships transporting goods around the world." Over time, these modes of transportation can be replaced. But to state it baldly without qualifications as you do is just ridiculous. You're either responding to someone else's posts, or you're yelling at a cloud going by. Either way, I did not mention combustion engines or ships in this thread.
  15. Loop hole, or loopy hoe?
  16. Here's a thought. Why don't you post a link to where I said that? And just respond to what I say, and not what you wish I said.
  17. That's why, between 2016 and 2019-1/2, every MSM, along with PBS and NPR had articles about how vulnerable the machines are. They went strangely quiet after 2020... But even CNN in 2023 admits the machines haven't been secured. Nothing's changed, except the narrative.
  18. I understand it just fine. I just don't agree. More accurately, I'm not convinced. Not enough that I'm willing to pay more than I need to eat, stay warm, get around and download stuff. On an aside, I'm with the folks that think the past 100 years may be a recovery from the volcanic winter from Krakatoa. There are historic precedents. Not to mention, all that plant food in the atmosphere isn't all bad.
  19. Hey, it's expensive to (allegedly) fly in half a studio audience of firm supporters from all over the country to pretend they're undecided, and fill the other half of the studio with compliant hired extras. Tracey noted that during the event, he observed “two segments” of the audience, one of which consisted of people asking questions who were allegedly flown in by the network from out of state. The independent journalist then continued to highlight how the second “segment” of Harris’ audience were seat fillers allegedly outsourced by a casting company called FansOnQ. https://dailycaller.com/2024/10/11/harris-townhall-undecided-voters-allegedly-dems-univision/ Edit: Added the "allegedly"
  20. Is anyone else wondering what caused all those peaks and valleys in the millions of years before we had cars? Climate change is real. It's been going on for billions of years. Decimating the economy, or taking money from me and giving it to someone else isn't going to stop it. Neither are windmills, solar panels or EVs crammed down our throats. Good on Cap'n Ron.
  21. 1) That you refer to it as a "fine" means it's futile to even discuss the lawsuit with you. 2) Here's a guy that bought one off EBay, and the state didn't even notice it was missing until he reported it to them. How many more are missing and being analyzed by people who want to alter the results? https://www.npr.org/2022/09/08/1121682138/a-hacker-bought-a-voting-machine-on-ebay-michigan-officials-are-now-investigatin 3) Every year, the DEFCON hackers in Las Vegas are able to break into the machines, on the spot. They did it again this year. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/08/12/hackers-vulnerabilities-voting-machines-elections-00173668
  22. Doesn't seem to be getting any better: The nation’s best hackers found vulnerabilities in voting machines — but no time to fix them https://www.politico.com/news/2024/08/12/hackers-vulnerabilities-voting-machines-elections-00173668 Note the date... 2024 in Lost Wages. There were dozens of articles after the 2016 election, and even more after the 2018 midterms where just about every MSM and their brother and cousin warned of voting machine insecurity. But after 2020 (and the results they wanted) the only acceptable description that wasn't demoted, banned, cancelled or ridiculed was "The most secure election in history". Ask Zuck. He apologized for it. 4 years too late, but better late than never. Not a mystery why so many people don't trust the MSM any more. Then 60 Minutes pulls their bonehead stunt. They can't even get their versions right. The preview shows one answer, and the broadcast showed a different answer.
  23. Then, a few months later, in a Georgia courtroom, someone hacked one of the machines with a BIC pen and a $10 USB chip. I keep expecting Fox to ask for their money back, but I'm sure their confidential settlement agreement doesn't allow that. https://www.ajc.com/politics/witness-shows-how-to-tamper-with-georgia-elections-in-security-trial/WUVKCYNV3ZGOVNB6X6TDX2GEFQ/ https://atlantaciviccircle.org/2024/01/25/state-doesnt-understand-the-technology-plaintiffs-rest-their-case-in-trial-over-georgias-voting-machines/ Even CNN says the software is vulnerable: https://edition.cnn.com/2023/06/14/politics/dominion-voting-georgia-vulnerabilities-2024/index.html So, no. That wasn't fake news from Fox. It was yet another spoiler alert.
  24. Thailand would be paradise on earth if it wasn't for the silly brown people. And the smelly tourists from those other countries.
  25. Does anyone care? I don't. They all fib during an election.
