The Biden cultists won't admit that Joe is not fit to hold office. It's kind of a giveaway, isn't it? Even after recent speaking events have proven he's unable to string together cognitive thoughts, they still think he should control the nuclear codes when he's not napping. God only knows who's in control the other 20 hours a day when he is napping.

FAA orders inspections of 2,600 Boeing 737 airplanes over oxygen mask issue https://www.cnbc.com/2024/07/08/faa-orders-inspections-of-2600-boeing-737-airplanes-over-oxygen-mask-issue.html https://www.aeronewsjournal.com/2024/07/faa-mandates-inspections-for-boeing-737.html I wonder how much they saved changing the glue... Boeing has since returned to using its original adhesive for all new deliveries to ensure the generators remain firmly in place, as intended.

It varies state by state. With no opinion on my part, here are some details about Ohio... In 2009, Ohio changed the deadline for a qualified party to certify the names of its presidential and vice-presidential nominees from 75 days before the general election, to 90 days before the general election. Now the problem has arisen for 2024, because the Democratic convention is August 19-22... It says the Ohio legislature may pass a bill changing the deadline. If it does not, the Democratic Party would have an easy lawsuit to strike down the deadline. https://ballot-access.org/2024/04/06/for-the-third-presidential-election-ohio-deadline-for-parties-to-certify-their-presidential-nominees-is-again-a-problem-for-one-of-the-major-parties/ https://edition.cnn.com/2024/04/06/politics/biden-ohio-ballot-election-conflict/index.html

You may be right. I just parroted the local news. But my main point is that the OP left out important details, to support a narrative. Like the fact that he's 29 and she's 14. That they met on Grindr, as opposed to some random act by a complete stranger jumping out of the bushes to attack a trans person. Whether he's gay or not, and whether she's trans or not (and how far along in the transition), hooking up a 14 year old to a 29 year old is just wrong. But not a hate crime. It's a pedo crime.

What will be truly interesting is to see how the Dems will contort the election laws to get their anointed one on ballots in states where the filing deadline has already passed. If they can extend statutes of limitation to allow a lawsuit from 30 years ago (or maybe 29 or 31 years, the plaintiff can't remember what year she was raped), surely they can get past any pesky election laws. Or maybe they just waited too long, and are stuck with a guy that most Americans can clearly see is unfit for the task.

Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?
impulse replied to simple1's topic in Political Soapbox
You've provided a link to Jack Reed's official site, a Dem senator from RI, who has parroted an article in The Atlantic that claims Trump said something. No link to the original video of Trump actually saying something, with the full context under which he said it? Like they claimed he threatened the US with a bloodbath, when he was actually referring to the US auto industry. Leaving out the context. So lefties have been throwing around the "threatened us with a bloodbath" narrative ever since. Try harder. It should be easy to find a firsthand video of Trump himself, what with 10x as many journalists registered as Dems than Repubs. -
We'll see. I give it 50:50 he'll hang on to the end, dragging the Dems down with him (including the down ballot). And if he does step down or get pushed aside, it's 50:50 whether Michelle gets drafted in "to save democracy". In any case, the longer they wait to announce, the less scrutiny their appointed candidates will undergo.

Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?

If you mean the highly decorated geniuses that claimed it was cheaper to leave cargo planes and helicopters in Afghanistan than to tank them up and fly them out, I agree with him. They're effin' idiots. You're going to have to post a link to a genuine quote of him insulting Gold Star families. Not a link to what the MSM wish he said. And not a snippet taken out of context. You're the one who always demands a link with any factual claim... -
I bought quite a bit on Bahtsold during the mass exodus of foreigners when they changed the visa rules after the coup. Got reasonable deals on everything I bought, and never tried to Presbyterian anyone down on the prices because my heart went out to them being forced to leave. Most of them seemed like decent people caught under sad circumstances. But that was around 10 years ago... So your question is a good one. I actually sold a couple things back when the guys got their ducks in a row and came back to Thailand.

Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?

If there was any indication he had dementia, the MSM would be all over it like white on rice. Especially MSDNC. (Am I allowed to use an Asian sounding expression?) -
While I don't advocate tampering with evidence, I thought it was a good idea to practice removing the micro-SD card from the dash cam for just such a purpose. Make it second nature instead of fumbling under pressure. So I'd have possession of it and nothing nefarious would happen to my exculpatory evidence. I never had the need, but it's something to think about. And I replaced the micro-SD every 6 months or so because I figured it would eventually wear out, being recorded over every 20 hours of driving. Something else to think about. Mostly, I took the micro-SD card out when I wanted to figure out where I passed that interesting shop or landmark. I'd run through the video, which was tied to GPS coordinates. Then I could find the place next time I was in the area.

The DA seems to think it was a pedo crime and not a hate crime... Mercer County District Attorney Peter C. Acker said hate crime charges are not being pursued because Watkins is homosexual and Likens was transitioning. I tend to agree, regardless of gay or straight or what gender. A 29 year old meeting a 14 year old on Grindr (or Tinder, or....) is just wrong. The fact that it ended in a death of the 14yo is tragic. IMO, Grindr should be apportioned some blame if they facilitated the "date".

Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?

And why Dems are fighting tooth and nail against a proposed Voter ID bill. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/05/08/congress/johnsons-new-voting-push-ballot-conservatives-house-00156817 Elon said it very eloquently: Tim Pool asked why Democrats would oppose a bill that would require proof of citizenship to vote. Musk responded, “Because they want to cheat.” https://vigilantnews.com/post/elon-musk-drops-voter-fraud-truth-bombs/ Given that he has access to a treasure trove of information being passed back and forth (as owner of X), along with the AI assets to boil it all down, I wonder why he's warning Americans against vulnerable voting machines, unfettered vote by mail, and illegals registering to vote? -

Coffee: A "Miracle" Drink with Numerous Health Benefits, Experts Say
impulse replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I enjoy a good cup of Joe. But sometimes it's just a CDS. Caffeine Delivery System. Years ago, I started keeping caffeine tablets around (generic No-Doz) for those days when a cup of coffee was just too inconvenient. That's gotten less frequent now that there's a coffee shop every 50 meters. Which is why I suspect the OP is an infomercial. I still remember when a pack of Lucky Strikes was held out as a quick pick me up. -
"I'm a Democrat," Pitts said during the interview. "It's just, [Biden] is not a hard case." Pitts listed a number of symptoms he said were easily identifiable, even by visible confirmation. "I could've diagnosed him from across the Mall," Pitts said. https://www.foxnews.com/media/neurologist-says-biden-displays-hallmark-symptoms-parkinsons-not-hard-case-diagnose Who would you believe? The guy whose job depends on saying the right thing, or a random expert who has no skin in the game? Keep in mind, the original interview was on NBC, not Fox.
