price of medical certificate for driving licence
AhFarangJa replied to alexi333's topic in Health and Medicine
Here in Hua Hin my Wife went to the local clinic, told the doctor I needed a certificate for a driving licence. He asked her if I was healthy, she said yes, he is o.k. and came back with a paper, total 150 Baht. -
Absolutely pathetic. A massive haul of 50 Baht per person.......certainly a high roller event. Meanwhile around the corner, one man sold a few thousand Baht worth of drugs, and across Thailand millions of Thai's are spending millions of Baht buying lottery tickets at inflated prices for that "special" number, all with impunity as the Government rakes in millions, and of course, the lottery is not gambling.........

I read all the time. I did have a Kindle many years ago when they first came out. However, it did not feel the same as holding a proper book. I used to find myself having to go back and re read several pages as the information did not sink in the same. Of course maybe it was just my age..... -

Or for passing around brown envelopes........... -
We do not pay vat as the bar is not in a company name. However, as the name on the food and alcohol licences she is effectively saying she is working and drawing a salary. She pays income tax at 6 monthly intervals. Obviously this half year she will not as we are closed. We have closed the business down, and it is for sale. However, we are still liable for the rent for the next year unless we can sell it and transfer the contract
-
We are closed anyway, and the business is on the market, but as you say, who buys in a lockdown. Hopefully things will get better in or near October, and we have a better chance of selling it, In the meantime it is bite the bullet and pay up, I just wish the government would help more. My Wife has dutifully paid her taxes on time, but not any more. I cannot write here what she would tell prayut to do with his taxes.
