The system is not racist, but it is ageist.

There is nothing wrong, IMHO, about a country vaccinating its own citizens first. However, Thailand is not doing this, foreigners are getting vaccinated before Thais is some cases.

and quite rightly so if they health issues/over 65 etc, in other words they are high risk. I base my opinion on someone who is married to a Thai, living here permanently and contributes handsomely to the Thai economy.

    Just sayin like ????

Never ceases to amaze. There's a subset of people who bark incessantly about the ills of immigrants coming to their home country, all while being an immigrant in Thailand (and generally barking about Thailand's 'faults' like Immigration officers, Covid restrictions, etc.)

Not surprisingly, not a one of that type of person has a lick of success in life. Barely able to scrape by. The fault, though they are incapable of seeing it or admitting it, lies within.

I beg to differ but won't post because its thread!!!!!!!!!!! and will only get removed. Perhaps you or i should start a new topic cos i've got plenty to say lol

Why are you not offering vaccines to UK nationals in Thailand who cannot register with the chaotic local vaccine programme?

If countries like France and Australia can do it for their citizens, why not the UK in these exceptional circumstances?

Bingo, its time for the BE to step up to the plate enough is enough.

Allowing free, uninterrupted Travel between Provinces was always going to lead to this conclusion.

A 10 Years old child could have told you this would happen.

" more clusters in Factories "

And the solution to this is for an order to be made instructing the Factories to make available Isolation for their Workers within the actual factories.

and that is actually happening now, wifey's brother and his lady are living in a tent in the factory where they work.

A useful link, thank you but

'Vaccination registration for foreign residents aged 60 and over ONLY (born in 1961 or before) residing in Bangkok and neighboring provinces (Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakarn, Samut Sakhon)
    Click >> https://forms.gle/ULAqvx8eiDoX3v5Q9 <<

(For foreign residents residing in other provinces, please contact provincial health authorities or your provincial hospitals)
    Ministry of Foreign Affairs'

They are jabbing farangs from anywhere in Thailand if you are over 75, just turn up and join the queue, get there early is best. My mate and his friends got jabbed last wednesday and they all live in Pattaya.

I would say yes, but I'm not in charge.   Travelling by inter-provincial public transport can, and seems like it will, be stopped, but I doubt they can easily prevent people travelling by car.  The road blocks during the last lock-down annoyed local people so much they were soon stopped.

I'll let you know how i get on after travelling back from Pattaya on Tuesday morning, i'm not expecting any problems but you never really know what to expect here in Thailand.

  7. Wifey got a finance deal on our car (in her name) despite having no job/income. We put 50% down and the car dealership financed the other 50% through a finance company. They accepted my pension to fund the repayments of 29K per month for two years.

I could'nt quite understand how they could grant her the loan without any income but TIT and the car was worth 1.5M new so i suppose they could cover the loan on resale if they had to repossess.
