we took this to the court of human rights many years ago....
[europe ] the result...'They decided that the pension we all paid for ,for more than 40 years in my case is ...'A GOVERNMENT BENEFIT]' ..As such I guess that means the government can even stop any payment..
[europe ] -The European Court of Justice to be precise IMMSMC and they wonder why the majority of voters want rid of them from having ANY jurisdiction in the UK, job done now byebye EU and the ECJ.
.'A GOVERNMENT BENEFIT]' - You can thank that little pratt George Osbourne for that (he had ENTITLEMENT changed to BENEFIT) but he also got his just rewards.........THE SACK.

This is the problem imo, why oh why people are allowed bail when facing serious charges beggars belief.

There are still older Diesel models where you don't get approval from the manufacturers to use B10 (or even "worse" B20).
There are plenty of threads already here about these compatibility issues.
A mate has a Nissan truck about 14 years old and it's not on the list of compatible models.
I was primarily referring to the cost in my post, why pay 3 baht more per litre for B7 ? Wifey contacted our Toyota dealership where we bought our 2007 Fortuner and they told her we could use any diesel B7, B10 or B20.

That's B10.
The plot thickens lol, so why don't they call it B10 as its not just plain old diesel ?

As written, B7 is the stuff to buy if you don't want to change and be on the "safe side".
I doubt they offered you the real expensive premium stuff.
From lists published in other threads, Toyota pickups are B10 compatible since a decade or longer.
Other brands differ.
Starting prices:
Prices will go down 0.50 Baht from tomorrow Nov 4, 5:00 AM.
So whats wrong with diesel at 18.49 ?

In my case the state pension is added to a small private pension and the allowance is deducted from the combined total, with all the tax(about 22%) being taken from the private pension.
You need to adjust your thinking, the allowance is applied to total income not just part of it.

You obviously don't realise or are just plain thick and argumentative to understand that PTT garages here in Thailand sell fuel at differing prices, i've witnessed this fact all over Thailand on my travels, now just ???? ???
You will hear no more from me......

Diesel is 21.29 today, and I believe has been B7 for ages already, while B10 is 18.29.
You may want to get your facts straight before you blame others
You might not be able to read what the advertised price of fuel is on the PTT display board at the said garage but i can, now just ? and annoy someone else.

Well i had an interesting experience on friday at my local PTT station which i've been using for years. I have a 2007 diesel Fort and i pulled up at the ordinary diesel pump and the attendant showed me a leaflet showing that ordinary diesel users were now being directed to the B7 diesel and she requested that i move to the B7 pump.
When i said to her i want the ordinary diesel she frowned and insisted i move to the B7, well i just told her to put the ordinary diesel in after all said and done i've been using it for the past 13 years.
I think i realised why they wanted me to move to the B7, the ordinary diesel was 18.60 bht per litre and the B7 was 21.60 bht per litre ????

A young man's just been killed in an horrific car crash and the topic of conversation is focused on the speedo and if or not the car could go that fast ? Just shows you where humanity's at doesn't it......
If you live in Thailand and witness daily Thailand's standard of driving and utter stupidity at times you rapidly become immune to all the road carnage, you reap what you sow.......

I would seriously question the accuracy of the 200km/h when the rev counter is showing just over 5K rpm, surely a vehicle such as an Altis would need to be red lining to ever have any chance of attaining that sort of speed, my opinion.

Would this model of car be capable of 200KM/H ?

Please tell me how you know what went on in a PM between two other members?
I think you are referring to a PM i was party to that was obviously shared with the idiot third party. The following confirms my belief, i then posted the whole PM to illustrate i knew exactly the process, there was nothing personal to warrant not posting the PM.

I also went through this telephone routine to "clear" (in the IPC vernacular) my latest life cert. However, IPC also made it clear to me that a suitably-witnessed certificate in paper form was still required "for the record" (again their vernacular). So it looks like that particular phone call was a complete waste of my time.
The lady that dealt with me categorically told me that i did'nt need to send my LC back to them, the phone call and security questions were adequate enough to comply. I think whoever you spoke to was having a bad day.

Telephone the number on the form +44 191 21 87777. Listen to all the information about covid, ignore all the rubbish about not accepting queries, wait for the options. Option 1 is Life Certificate, tell them your problems, speak nicely and they may let you do it over the phone. Expect a lot of questions, so have the info ready at hand.
They asked me questions about my marriage, date etc..
They will ask you......
* Your full name
* Your DOB
* Your Bank where you have your pension deposited
* Your Bank account number
* If married, you date of marriage
Well thats what they asked me yesterday, hope its of help to anyone.

They were wrong but a small fine and a slap on the wrist is the correct punishment.
Yes indeed it is but of course it involves farangs so an example has to be made despite how ridiculous Thailand makes itself look. I wonder what would have happened if the incident involved two Thais ?
If i was a tourist looking for a good holiday destination Thailand would NOT be on my list, too many other welcoming destinations, after this virus is put to bed of course.
