Bangkok Bank ATM use/tutorial ?
Ohyesuare replied to khlongtoey's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
An ATM could not be any more user friendly. Put card in, choose English, put in PIN/password/secret code, push button for withdraw money, money come out, take money. Not sure why you'd need a tutorial or to take photos of each screen. Yes, the password you generate for ibanking is a temporary password that you'll need to change after using it to first login, as a security measure. If you want to transfer more than 50,000 baht a day, you need to do a facial scan, if not, then you don't. Anything else, like you said, it's the bank's job to help you and it sounds like they're gonna need a lot of patience. -
Bangkok bank fooled / cheated me

Yeah mine worked out to something like 0.12% interest and then they withhold a chunk of it. Horrible but whatever. -
Is it safe to wear a Rolex around Bangkok??
Ohyesuare replied to Mekmong MICK's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You'll be safe but there are thieves who can slip it off your wrist without you even noticing. Hopefully most will just think it's a fake/replica. -
It's on you to secure your phone and the apps installed on it. I use the Wise app exclusively and it won't open or do any transfers without my face authentication. If my iphone is ever lost or stolen, I can easily just mark it as such online, wipe all the data and it becomes a useless brick that can't even really be sold even for parts anymore.

He gave them the finger and they attacked him, I don't think that's the outcome he was expecting. Hopefully they do get rid of the stand as they overcharge anyway like any motorcycle stand outside popular tourist areas. It's not like there isn't 2 or 3 other stands a few steps away from that one anyway.

Foreign man caught urinating on tuk tuk amid traffic jam in Phuket
Ohyesuare replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Neither, it's a penis. -
Yeah bad communication on their part was my issue. I've done multiple transfers this week though and all have been instant.
-
Just right now sent 1000 USD to my Bangkok Bank account using Wise and the money arrived instantly. Let's hope that means the issues are fixed now.

I downloaded the transaction invoice/receipt and it shows under Paid out from that the Banking Partner who did the local transfer is Tranglo SGP.
-
Ah right. Always get those mixed up for some reason.

Drunken Bar Brawl Leads to Scotsman Being Hit by Car in Pattaya

Give it time. Mine took 12 hours to hit my Bangkok Bank account after Wise said the transfer was completed and successful which before always meant it's already in my bank. Wise seems to use Tranglo SGP as their banking partner to transfer funds, at least in Thailand, could be an issue with them, who knows.
-
Yes, my transfers have been delayed lately rather than the instant transfers it used to be.

The CCTV video starts with an argument already taking place so it's not video showing it didn't happen, it's video that doesn't show it happening, if it did happen. There's a difference. The same CCTV also shows one of them shoving/throwing an older looking man who tried to intervene out of the bar with their full force which could have easily killed him if he didn't stay on his feet by what looks like sheer luck. I'm not defending the security at all, especially the one who most likely killed or permanently disabled the guy with the kick to the head, I hope he gets what he deserves for that but these 3 Brits were dangerous and looking for trouble. If you think there's a problem with your bin, that's not the way to handle things at all. 2000 baht is not worth your life or eating from a straw for the rest of your life.
