  1. Glad to see that you acknowledge that it’s the hope strategy. As for China invading Vietnam, no idea what you’re on about and it’s off topic anyway.
  2. This is a pro-Ukrainian forum. If getting likes are important, then you need to repeat the narrative. On the other hand, if you’re interested in the truth and living in the real world, be prepared to be attacked, insulted, trolled and reported. Also, lots of confused emojis (yes, the other side gets confused rather easily).
  3. In your haste to score cheap points, you missed the words allegedly and jest. I confess, it was an intentional bait which you predictably swallowed, hook, line and sinker. Looks like you’re the one that got duped. I’m not surprised at all though.
  4. Aren’t European farmers protesting about grain imports from Ukraine? Just imagine if the EU were to control it instead. It would be weaponised in the blink of an eye so I reckon the global majority would prefer if Russia controlled it.
  5. Russia’s trade jumped by nearly 7 per cent last year, while activities in the financial sector and construction grew by 6.6 per cent and 3.6 per cent, respectively
  6. Wow. What a first class example of how effective propaganda can be on some. Russia’s military maybe a laughing stock and yet day by day, they are pushing the strongest NATO army backwards. What the conflict has definitely demonstrated is the (in)efficiency of himars, atacms, storm shadows, Bradley’s, leopards, abrams etc etc. let’s see how the F15/16? do. Russia may be suffering hundreds of thousands of casualties. How about Ukraine? Or do you believe Zelensky’s claim of 30,000? In the meantime, Russia has become a high income country with a GNI of 11%. And Russia’s standing with the global majority is getting stronger with more and more countries wanting to join BRICS.
  7. Absolutely. It’s called the “Hope” strategy.
  8. Other than a few videos of a couple of tanks being blown up here and there, the usual ad hominem and deflection posts plus a scattering of content free posts from a certain Mick Hucknall fan, there doesn’t seem to be much news reports coming out of the battlefield in this conflict. Coud it be that the world is getting tired of Zelensky jetting around the world, spewing nonsense about casualty figures, begging for more money so that his wife can allegedly buy a Bugatti for each and every one of his homes? (Jest, for those that like to report posts and those that lives by links from their “credible” sources). Or is it (more likely, imo) that day by day, slowly but surely, Russia is advancing westwards, capturing village after village (as seen on many mapping channels), more and more Ukrainian soldiers (conscripts with no training really) are surrendering and Ukraine is running out of men willing to fight a proxy war? Western media is of course self censoring reports that might show Russia is winning so that leaves independent sources which are of course not credible or approved. Zelensky should have known when to quit when there was a good chance of ending the conflict 2 years ago and keeping Ukraine intact. But he forgot that famous quote of (supposedly) Kissinger about dangerous to be America’s enemy but fatal to be its ally, something that a lot of European countries are also slowly discovering for themselves.
  9. This article is about China, not America. You might want to go to Specsavers.
  10. Spot on. He is so propagandised he doesn’t even realise it. Any pro-Ukrainian link, to him, would be a credible source. Generally, these are western sources. If however a western source features reputable and well respected scholars, professionals such as those you mentioned, who are not pro-Ukrainian but not necessarily pro-Russian, all he has is personal attacks on those individuals. See for example how he drones on about Ritter and compare it to the actual “crime” committed.
  11. I guess you mean the version of the truth that suits your narrative and bias. You are unlikely to believe anything the Chinese media reports and you definitely won’t believe anything reported by Russian and Iranian media. Similarly, the global majority treats western reports with a ton of salt.
  12. Always needing to have the last word. As usual. Do please respond as I know you can’t help yourself. I promise not to respond so that the last word is yours..
  13. Sigh. Both my Ford Ranger and Isuzu imax still have an ignition slot for the key. At least the Isuzu can be push started if necessary.
  14. So every article from a “credible” source like BBC or CNN or Bloomberg etc etc is true? Gullibility doesn’t even begin to explain such simple mindedness.
  15. Haha. I can’t say for sure that anyone said Ukraine is winning convincingly but I can say for sure that some have said that Ukraine is winning. In this game of life and death between Russia and Ukraine, is arguing over semantics of any importance when there is a Fab3000 or a cluster bomb headed towards you?
  16. Whatever. I have read enough of your posts to form an assessment.
  17. Your usual inexplicable obsession with links. In your mind, only links Don’t you realise not everything you read on the internet is true? Have you lost the ability to analyse and think logically?
  18. Pot, kettle, black. Actually not. You’re a coal fired black pot, we are clean electric kettles. We aren’t idiots so that leaves…
  19. As usual, all you have is an ad hominem attack because you are unable to challenge or counter the points he raises in his interviews and speeches.
  20. Let’s face it, you do not know for a fact whether @BobBKK’s casualty figures are true or false so how can you assert that they are false? The western msm might report different figures but that does not mean those figures are correct either. You believe the sources you choose to believe, that’s your prerogative but don’t try claiming that they are the absolute truth.
  21. To the person that gave me a confused emoji. I fully understand your confusion, presumably because you’ve never driven an EV. You see, in an ICEV, you get in, insert your key if it’s a particularly old or low tech vehicle and then crank the engine, either with the key or via a button. The engine then springs to life with a shudder and a puff of smoke. In an EV, you press a button (labelled start normally) and then… nothing. No drama. Just like pressing the ON button on a remote. I liken it to the days when I was gainfully employed and having to travel for business. If you are unfortunate enough to fly cattle class, you struggle and squeeze your way along a narrow aisle to locate your seat, only to find the overhead cabin full with <deleted> from other passengers and you have to look for an empty space in another overhead cabin miles from your seat to plonk your carry on baggage. On the other hand, at the front of the plane, the delightful and sometimes delicious stewardess show you to your seat and sometimes even offer to deposit your hand luggage on the voluminous cabin directly above your seat. Of course, being a gentleman, you would politely decline and do it yourself, implying that if she were to sit in your sexy performance EV, you would be holding the door open for her. Don’t hesitate to seek further clarification if necessary. Regards.
  22. The biggest headache I’m facing after over a year of EV ownership is not knowing whether my car is on or off. No sound, no vibration, no fumes. So annoying
  23. Correction. The title of this topic is Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War Operative word being discussion and not propaganda. This is however a pro-Ukrainian forum.
  24. The only threat to regional safety and security is coming from the US. As long as they stay away, things will be fine. NK has already given up its plans for the reunification of the peninsula and Russia knows this is China’s backyard.
