  1. The girls outside MacDonalds in Nana are just waiting for BIG MAC
  2. Before you move a business there; there has to be business to do. There is not enough business.
  3. You are correct in your facts to a point. The big problem is that just like having a glass of wine, beer or drinks a day will not hurt you the odd cigar after a meal Will not hurt you . BUT We all know that people will go to excess and that is where the trouble lies. I have no issue with cannabis BUT I have an issue with the fact that anyone can sell it buy it or use it even kids. An example is walking around NANA you can buy as much as you want more people are selling it and not really caring who they sell it to The problem with the legalization is that there are no rules no laws to regulate who and where it can be sold. If you look at any country that has legalized it there are rules that go with it. Selling it online is no way to sell who knows who is buying it.
  4. From past experience. I caught my ex gf doing this. It was not until a large sum went missing that I noticed. It started with a couple of thousand then grew. Probably the same thing here. I think they are basing the amount on the video footage. I am sure the amount is smaller but unless she kept track they will nevy know BUT 10 million gets you readithe article
  5. I have a hard time with used to work in Karaoke and retired at 19. If she was pregnant was she really retired. Have to think that maybe she was still in the business. Married at 19 seems a little to young.
  6. The other option for the pool has nothing to do with swimming. I messed up my back and that is where the Dr sent me BUT it was to do an aerobic workout. Do the same workout that a person would do on land in the pool. Even walking distance in the pool is harder. If you want to test my reasoning go to a beach walk on land then go into the water up just below your knees and walk the same distance.
  7. This is not just a Thai problem it is an international problem. A political party subsidizing a candidate for political party that they think will be easier to beat sounds like Thailand . Would have never thought of it in other countries but it is happening. How do these people that live in government jobs become some of the richest people around. It is not through their government pay. Deals are made across the aisles all the time the only difference here is that someone did not get enough bananas and started to cry.
  8. Bottom line is that 20th century now has a great PR moment that is the cheapest it will ever get. Imagine DiCaprio and the heads at 20th standing on the beach and presenting the cheque. Stating that they are doing this in the name of Climate Change and to be good shepherds of the world. Don't forget they had to close Maya Bay for a couple of months this year because of tourist damage. Probably cost more than 10 million baht
  9. not sure what happened but you are black on my computer until i quote you
  10. OP The bottom line is that the rules say that you have to have 800 2 months before and 3 months after. after the 3 months, you can drop it down to 400 Do all imm offices check all the time. Probably not. BUT does that mean the rules are different NO. Just like anything people in Thailand can do what they want. BUT If you do not follow the rules, you're taking a chance that the powers that be are not going to clamp down and make sure of the amounts. This thread is what is required not what you can get away with. If you do not play the game they have the right to say so sorry bye bye. It was precisely people doing what they wanted that cost everyone except Canucks and a few chosen few the ability to do the monthly check with letters. I can tell you that PT IMM even though I have the letter still looks at my monthly statements to see that I have every month received the required payments
  11. Why would they not make Chatuchak park an emergency run-off location? The same thing for Lumpini and all the major parks in the area yes, they are nice, but I would rather redo a park than redo a bunch of businesses
  12. Yeah just read that thanks
  13. No the reports have that being offered to Edward
  14. Gf house in lam lukka got a little m ok re water in front but it left after rain stopped. Canal in khu kot near lotus is ready to go o ver the banks.
  15. Let's face it the world is going to hell in a handbasket. Unfortunately for many, the governmental system for resolving these things has been war. Let us hope that it does not happen this time and that people learn from history instead of repeating it. The funny thing may be that being here in Thailand may be the safest thing for many people.
  16. Yeah like these guys are going to vote in favour of getting rid of their cash cow. The only way this gets changed is if the next government has a huge majority and uses the power to appoint people that are not self absorbed. Yeah I know TIT same thing in Canada asking them to agree to election or term limits for senators.
  17. A side note One thing that I think many will miss is that not only was she a grand queen and leader, BUT she was also a great mentor that set the path and involved her family is the requirements of the monarchy so that they were prepared to take her place. Charles and William, as well as Camilla and Kate, know exactly what their roles are and what the country expects of them. For the British monarchy, it is not about the money or the lifestyle it was and still is about the dominion.
  18. There is a lot that can be said but that it is the end of the U.K. I think is not that of a true member of the dominion. The U.K. has been up and down and faced many eras of depression. Elizabeth was a true and gracious lady that not only represented the U.K. she represented a great many countries and gave guidance to a great many. As a Canadian, it was my honour and privilege to meet her twice and to serve as a liaison to HMS Britannia. No matter the event or the people that were present, she made everyone that attended events feel special. She is someone that a lot of leaders could take some lessons from in humility and ethics. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN may she enjoy her life in the hereafter with Philip and watch over us all.
  19. BTS now that they have this order has a very effective way to end this and enforce payment. Now that they are legally entitled to the money they can now say pay or we do not play. Khu Kot passengers waiting for the train is almost like that at Mor chit. The last thing that BMA wants is BTS to simply say sorry we can not afford to keep all the stations open and close them. Would you care to think about what the streets and traffic would be like if they closed every other station? Remember they have not even raised the prices it is still the best deal in town.
  20. oops came up on my computer forgot to check the date sorry. But hey it is still a good way to go.
  21. This goes back to the school and ore importantly, the parents. Thailand is becoming more and more like the U.S., which we see on the news and read about online. First parents are too busy to be involved intheir kids lives therefore kids are not taught about being responsible for your actions. Bullies in schools have existed since there were schools. Students used to be able to go to teachers who would then talk to the student or the parents and get it resolved. Unfortunately kids now seem to think that they have to resolve it themselves. Yes the parents should pay medical bills but besides that maybe instead of teaching stuff schools and parents can get back to teaching the life skills that are necessary such as integrity, honesty and ethics as well as reading writing and arithmetic
  22. I am willing to bet that yes, a large portion of his bill was him either knowingly or unknowingly agreeing to bar drinks. The outcome will be pay far bill and go on his way.to
  23. This happens to a varying degree in all municipalities. Me thinks she P!ssed in someone's corn flakes and this was their way to get revenge.
  24. RIP and my condolences to the family. BUT it is a nice way to go might even say he ended his life happy. https://thepattayanews.com/2022/01/28/elderly-foreign-expat-dies-while-getting-a-massage-at-a-massage-shop-in-pattaya/
  25. I was one of those that questioned her time for going to walking street. I still stand behind that comment. Still stand behind my comment. Going out by yourself into an area like Walking street at midnight to 2 am period is not the safest thing to do. I would suggest that it is comparable to walking down the old Yonge street in Toronto in the 80's or times square in NYC now. Yes the lights and action are amazing to see but... As to the perpetrator, the fact that he is Indian is important to note. an average of 86 cases daily are raped in India. India still has a long-standing issue with females and safety in their country. Now add in alcohol consumption and the same lights and the girls that attract this man and it ramps up his desires as well as his lower his inhibitions.
