Trump on Immigration: "We need a lot of people coming in."

Let me guess: Kamala was the brightest and most worldly knowledgeable person that you ever saw. The challenge is that California universities are more interested in quotas. However, a kid in England who can outcode anyone in the U.S.> you are saying should not be able to get a job working for a top company in the U.S., that the U.S. does not want the best and the brightest working for American Companies. You do not want the best and brightest professors teaching Americans how to build things or develop skills. You also realize that businesses can not just hire anyone. They have to qualify to hire a foreign person for the job by proving that an American can do it now. https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/h-1b-occupation-list/ -
Bank of Thailand Boosts Mobile Security with New Transfer Limits

Hate to burst your bubble but most Thais donot go to BNH Yanhee or other top hopsitals. Most use the government ones. Also, there are very few that have the ability to withdraw 50k a day. Again, the challenge is simple: you have people who have grown up in the old non-techie world who suddenly have been told by their family and the media that they need to do banking online and are trained to follow what any authority figure says. They need protection. This is the simplest way to do it. When you, Mr. Rich Farang, want to buy your motorbike with digital fine, I bet if you go talk to the person at the bank, they will help you. But remember the other part of this bill is that they are going to hold banks more responsible and therefore expect restrictions. -

The challenge is that there are not enough qualified non DEI WOKE people toi cover the jobs. Look at the substandard education system. MIT and other universities are too busy with DEI and woke policies. Meanwhile, you have kids in India or even here who are doing really well and developing and coding in the new crypto works with Ethereum and Solana and such, while American kids just want to play the games. These people on true H1B make a difference. He wants to get rid of the people who walk across the border or take a boat across the Great Lakes, not the people who come here legally and serve a purpose other than cheap labour for hotels. Would you rather have your kid taught math or science in school by a kid that got a degree in racial studies or underwater backet weaving or a person from India that actually knows the science and how it all fits in and has won awards studying science or math. -

This may seem harsh but do you allow kids to play with guns setting their own limits Most Thai people especially older have no idea about mobile apps except what their kids tell them. They are so used to being told what to they do so willingly and treating everything as gospel This ruke protects them from themselves -

I Think I Might Have Screwed Up
kingstonkid replied to kingstonkid's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In most cases, if the person is domestic, they want to destroy it. Security. However, they also realize that in the event that a person is outside the country or is travelling a lot they may need the old passport to get stamps copied. It actually makes sense when you consider that most people who get a passport are doing so for a holiday and not relocation. If you were living in Aus full-time, would you need your old passport? -
