Thanks. Knowing that TIT and Thai universities do things differently, I was hoping someone had done one already so I could get an idea of what they were looking for. -

Hi , I hope some of you out there can help me and a student. He is in Mat 6 and getting ready to apply at KMITL CMKL. Part of the package he needs is an SOP. I have tried surfing and only found them for PhD and master's. Has anyone out there helped a student put one together? He and his parents have asked me to help him, and I am attempting to do so based on my project and business SOP but again TIT, so I want to make sure. Also, can anyone tell me about the Duolingo English Test and how it compares to IELTS?

The ridiculous amount of Public Holiday's in Thailand
kingstonkid replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Ther is a huge difference between an observed and a holiday. Valentines and Halloween are observed as special days, but nowhere in the world are they holidays. Also, days off in lieu of a holiday are just that, days off, not an actual holiday. As stated, there are quite a few holidays, but unless you are the government, you will not get Mondays off. NYE is not a holiday int he true sense, but in order to attract tourism and Xmas holidays, they make it a large party but most Thais still have to work at least part of the day, same as in most western countries -
Dems are floundering. I think they are hoping that the PTO will sack him, things will turn to crap, and then they can say, see what the PTP did. This three-batch thing is a crock. No matter what they do, it will hurt the country, and then they will still not meet their election promise. Teens have already figured out how to beat the system.

Digital wallet project adds to Government's financial strain
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thaksin's challenge is that if he does not do it, they will be facing a very, very hard charging MFP. Consider that the PTP has made promises every election and none of them have helped people remember tablet for every student rice pledge triple thai farmers' income economic growth 20 million highly skilled workers 20,000 baht guaranteed salary to all university grads free healthcare for all including bedridden patients improve the country's financial situation higher minimum wage amending the constitution How are they doing so far? -

Yes, Just as we recently had a purge of Catholic ministers, I think that the time has come to establish rules and review who is deemed to be a monk. My thinking is that a monk is a person that has spent years immersed in the faith, and not all these people tht say I am going to be a monk for a couple of months. Also, they need to have someone with a brain in charge of each temple.

LOL you have to be kidding. So if you married a thai lady and swent back to the U.S. you would be a bad guy. A man marrying a lady can never be compared to the number of people running across the border. Also, add to that the fact that he supported them financially, and they were not now a drain on the U.S. people.

What fraud. From what I understand, he listed his assets and valued them the same as any of us. The Bank was willing to give him the loans, the loans were paid, and everyone other than the NY AG was very happy. The challenge is that now, no one is going to want to build or do a lot of business in NY as it will leave them open to being charged 30 years after the fact. He has never been proven that he tried to over throw a government. There is a lot being said, but the challenge is that they had the rigged trial in NY with a Democratic judge and Democratic DA. But please tell me how good a job Joe has done and how he has improved life for Americans.
