Dear Tiktokers and YouTubers coming to Thailand
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just lie everything else ther are good youtuber tiktokkers and there are the ones that do it with no regard. The difference is as the person said being respectful to others no matter if you're in your home country or not. Being in booty shorts and a tank top for instance at a temple is not respectful. Making videos in a temple is not respectful. There are limits that should be avoided. The problem is that sex and trash sell in this world of non responsibility and quick clicks. -
Any coalition or joining with the military either overtly of not would be the end of the PT. There is no way Thaksin comes back legally. The other side of the coin is that the PT becomes just another political party that will sleep with and play with anyone in the military that they are a prostitute for power not for the people. The next election would be the last and the PT which already got hurt by MFP would become the Dem party with a few seats but no power. It would also show that the military will kiss and play with anyone to keep their nose int he tent and keep some form of control.

Cannabis shops near schools allowed amid lack of specific law
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I know of the store he was talking about and agree that it is too close. I will give it credit though there is no obvious advertising and it started out looking like a coffee shop. It is not directly across from any major exits so as long as it keeps the are in front clean it is not an issue until the new laws get in place. I definitely think though that this has got to be a first 10 days thing for the MFP/PT. -
OK silly question time. How do you handle things if you get a pension form another country or have investments in the country. Do you need both a thai and Canadian will can the same executor action it?

Crazy Amounts New Yorkers spend to live
kingstonkid replied to LaosLover's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I think we do a disservice to the U.S. when we talk about how high the cost of living is. Reading about the GTA in Ontario. The costs that were /are increasing in Hongcouver and Montreal I can say that Canada is no different. There is a reason other than the ladies and the sunshine that I am not living in Canada. I visited Aus and can say that looking at the prices for hotels and what you get as well as the cost of things that again living in Sydney would not be my choice. I am sure London and other big cities are the same. -

Two More Parties to Join Move Forward-led Coalition
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The last thing that MFP needs is PT and BJT in the coalition. Then they lose a majority of the control. Imagine having to deal with n ot just Thaksin but Anutin at the same time. Also remember BJT was the partner with PPRP or military and supported everything they did. I think a pairing of MFP and Pt can work as longas Thaksin stays out of it. -

Bangkok’s election candidates told to collect their campaign posters
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Don't you realize. They are leaving them up for the next election in 6 months. Interesting point in PT is that it is the military parties that still have them up -
Former transport minister crashes yet again in Thailand
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
Not a chance. With or without the little piece of paper he will still drive. They have to either get him a live in driver or remove all vehicles from his access. He is rich old and entitled. -
Denied permission to leave.
kingstonkid replied to Randy99's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think the issue is the length of time set off the this is not a tourist which visa exempt is for. I have never done a border bounce been non o retirement since coming here but have to think that airport is more able to handle and may also advise you to get a real visa and come back -
Bail denied for Polish murder suspect in Bangkok, Thailand
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Considering how stunningly beautiful she is there may be a grain of truth to insane. Why would you ruin such an amazing female specimen. I see him getting life in prison here, The polish/EU government crying and rescuing him after 10 years to take him back to poland. It is shame would realy like to see him in a cell with about 100 ladyboys -
Can Pita Limjaroenrat Become Prime Minister? Three possible scenarios
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Not really screwed just mayhave to delay. I think the term for a lot of the military is coming to an end soon. As long as the military is not n control of the house they willnot be able to replace them. As to PT i think Thaksin is in a very precarious place. He can cry all he wants about not winning. BUT ANY GOVERNMENT THAT IS NOT run by the MFP is doomed to be protested and hated. The smartest thing that PT can do is turn off the spigot from Thaksin. Bite the bullet and support the MFP. Anything less is going to be noted by a lot of people next election. IN order for PT to form the government they would have to have the BJT UTN and PPRP support them. The people have stated that they don ot want military rule. PT would have a very short and rocky government even f they could get a person elected. -
Military-backed senators refuse to back MFP form a government
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There's no way thaksin will put his future in anutin hands. There is nothing to stop Anutin becoming pm in a minority government. It would mean a new election with the possibility of a defunct PT and MFp Remember the Senate cares about power money and lese majeste which provides them an others a cover. -

There is a simple solution. A person has to stand up and tell the country that he is happy and remind people that the Thai voters have spoken -

Expect the Senate to nominate and vote for anutin then stay away from mbk and siam paragon. This country will explode the military will come in and take over again -
Military-backed senators refuse to back MFP form a government
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If I was the MFp and pt I would simply call their bluff. Stay the course. That is what the people want the military just want to get there camel nose under the tent. Anutin especially is not the person you want to deal with nor do you want the military dictating what you should and shouldn't do. They want To keep the gravy train Shackle people with lese majeste Keep the country the way -
the baht and SEC are not going to get strong until the circus is finished. The election just answered who is going to sue who and who is going to be reported for being a bad boy or girl. The military and BJT will be looking to delegitimize the election. The letter complaining about attempt to buy votes PT and the fact that there were some issues with stocks of a company that while listed is still not doing anything are going to be interesting

Where Pheu Thai failed and where Move Forward capitalized
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
NO PT needed to be the leader. It had it's winning reputation that it had to keep clean. They can no longer say we have never lost an election that was fair. Thaksin hurt the party. To the faithful, he is next to god. But there are a lot of young people that only know what they have read along with the fact that anytime he has been involved, there has been a Coup. PT had their base in the north and felt that they could ride it. No one until it was too late really thought MFP would sweep Bangkok. Bringing back Thaksin is no longer in the cards. All the promises that they made are gone. They showed with their willingness to form a government with Prawit that they are not the anti-military group that they stated. Will they further show their hand by using the courts to gain favor at the risk of losing even more support?
