That is the biggest issue, and a lot of tourists do not understand it. I use BNH and while my VAC covers most of my treatment, is does not fully cover meds as they only reimburse Ontario rates. My medical coverage, not VAC covered, is an issue as there are cost limitations as well as things they will not cover. Other nurse services are one of them In Canada there is no such charge, so they do not reimburse it even though we all know that the charge is included in the doctor's actual fee. Question 1 Pardon my ignorance BUT is med evac flights covered in these plans and if so is there not usually a max amount. Question 2 Would it not be cheaper if covered to get the surgery done here instead of trying to fly back and then get the UK Government to pay.

Is this not also the area where the Chinese have caused the police so much trouble and been replaced? With all the stuff that is happening, anyone in BKK that opens a bar now and flouts the law is plain stupid and asking for trouble. RTP that used to accept envelopes, i can assure you are probably very cautious with BIG JOKE and others looking for them. The owners can still be arrested and fined as they are the owners and it is their responsibility.

Worker Dies As Tower Crane Collapses At Bangkok Construction Site
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Considering the number of sites and the quality of workers I am surprised -
The other alternative if you like quiet is move out to Pathum Thani rents here are 6k a month al in. Close to BTS so you can transit back and forth to BKK at will. LIfe is quiet but friendly. It would help to know where your job is located as that usually determines where someone lives. I also know of places around 5k in Wongwian area

God is not a Christian belief. Ifd you really study religion you will find that God has many names to many people The biggest misconception is that Muslims and Christians have different beliefs. If yo study the Quran you can see that a lot of what is said is in some way the same as the bible. Ramadan is a month of fasting and giving up vices in Christianity we call this Lent. Judaism also believes in God. There is the fallacy of a divine creation and that we come from something in outer space or that we evolved from the apes. The christian question then is who created the apes who created the land. If you say it was created in space then who created space. All to say that someone or something did something. Do I think there was a Jesus and Muhammad yes until someone can prove to me that there was not there is just too much imperical evidence that there was someone that upset the romans.

Does fact checking matter to your opinions?

There were a lot of nay-sayers on here that thought he would cover it up. While I think that he is in no hurry to be National Chief, he is the national police chief to the people. He is the one that they trust. If we remember one of the areas that he tried to clean up and reorg was in fact Chang Mai due to the <deleted> service that it gave. Long time members that live there may be able to shed light. His removal just as he was starting to get up to sped and make a difference may have been orchestrated by those at those locations. Remember he was removed from hs post which usually means that he has been accused of doing wrong. He was found not guilty and put back on the street. I am sure a lot of people in the CM issan area have been walking on egg shells ever since and now he has been able to get his revenge.

Thailand is the world champion for being hypocrites. We want to be seen as a a conservative culture but we make our money with sex trade. We tout Pattaya and Phuket as great holiday locations. We don't educate our children. We have westernized our lifestyle. Hey to each their own if a doll makes him happy then so be it he isn't hurting anyone

Thai Authorities to Promote More Traditional Songkran
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The water throwing has not been huge since the start of the century. I was here in 97 and yeah there were the kids but khaosan and silom we're almost empty. It is more a tourist and young people. Tourists don't come for traditional songkran they come for the water fight. -
These words he speaks are true, we're all humanary stew if,we don't pledge allegiance to the _________.the horror that he brings, the horror of his sting, the unholiest of men, the __________.our minds will be his toy,and every girl and boy will learn to be employed by the __________ No thai media outlet is going to say his name for fear of lawsuit. I have a feeling that the longer this goes on the worse it is going to get for the PPP, PT and other parties. Chuwit is opening the boxes slowly so that the media and the people can deal with them one at at time. This is not going to make many people feel good as they do not know who he is going to hit next. The big question though is how much is this going to affect the non bkk PT CM crowds.

Poll shows popularity gap between Prayut and Paethongtarn shrinks
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The problem is that you have 4 people that are known 3 that are involved and 1 with a pretty face and a last name. She's not around she has no political experience and has never run anything or been a leader. Anutin can't decide which foot to put in his mouth. Prawit has been under the PPP umbrella and people only got a small taste. The others are WHO Also let's face it does the average Thai living outside bkk actually care about the politics -

Not sure what the issue was but it worked. btw Important Note : Bureau later than the set period, a fine of 2,000.- Baht will be collected. If a foreigner who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days is arrested, he will be fined 4,000.- Baht. If a foreigner leaves the country and re-enters, the day count starts at 1 in every case. Was not aware that if they caught you I presume on a street check that it doubles. -
I am trying to get into the 90 day site but having trouble with Captcha. There seems to be 2 sets of letters and when I use the main one it bounces me. Assistance please am I supposed to use both the one in the back ground or what.
