  1. the baht and SEC are not going to get strong until the circus is finished. The election just answered who is going to sue who and who is going to be reported for being a bad boy or girl. The military and BJT will be looking to delegitimize the election. The letter complaining about attempt to buy votes PT and the fact that there were some issues with stocks of a company that while listed is still not doing anything are going to be interesting
  2. NO PT needed to be the leader. It had it's winning reputation that it had to keep clean. They can no longer say we have never lost an election that was fair. Thaksin hurt the party. To the faithful, he is next to god. But there are a lot of young people that only know what they have read along with the fact that anytime he has been involved, there has been a Coup. PT had their base in the north and felt that they could ride it. No one until it was too late really thought MFP would sweep Bangkok. Bringing back Thaksin is no longer in the cards. All the promises that they made are gone. They showed with their willingness to form a government with Prawit that they are not the anti-military group that they stated. Will they further show their hand by using the courts to gain favor at the risk of losing even more support?
  3. a little confused I guess it asks me for my address and in the past whenever I use my thai address TD denies me. I am brand new not even gotten to the point of transferring still setting up my account Which address did you use setting up your account canadian or thai
  4. I wish just like you trying to read the pot leaves. There are too many stores and pop-ups around that I think they will have to regulate them in some form. Considering that the prevailing winds say it is ok for Medical use if prescribed it makes sense that hospitals be able to supply it. Then again these days you can go to a pharmacy so you may see a few shops that will have auth to sell to people with a legit medical prescription. Then again TIT
  5. HI I am a little confused about setting up my account I am hoping there is a canuck that has already done it. I deal with TD in Canada and of course, they have a Canadian address on their records. Do I still say I am a resident of Thailand for wise. OLD and COnfused. Thanks fore the help
  6. Fully agree I do not think Pita will be PM. There are too many knives. MF now has to worry about PT also as I am sure that Thaksin is not going to be happy. This country could be in for a rough ride if the courts do not sit on their hands and let the people will be the decision. MFP wound Bangkok completely imagine if the EC decides to damage MFP. The youth and those supporting them will shut the city down. Also because they are a minority government I would not be surprised in a year if we are not back at the polls because Thaksin figured out what went wrong
  7. LOL you do not watch things, do you. BJT like every other Thai pol party has a local set of voters that in one area will vote for them no matter what. Anutin could do almost anything wrong and screw up the world and still they would vote for him. Pot is still not safe. The only party that felt it should be allowed with no restrictions was the BJT and they are going to have no say. They have already said he will never be allowed near the Health ministry. There will be changes to the availability and also possibly to the penalties but I would not say that the status quo is safe. I look for a lot of stores to shut down and a heavily regulated industry to be established. I think CBD and pot will be regulated by the hospitals.
  8. If she did what they say she did then that in itself proves that she is a strange person. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I am sure that the death penalty will be considered if she is found guilty
  9. Papers will be filed today to remove the MFP and invalidate the election I am ssure. If the courts are smart they will let the will of the people stand and stay out of it. Then again TIT
  10. It is going to be interesting to see what happens right now I would not be looking to open a weed store Nor would I be ordering a huge supply.
  11. YOu obviously must not see what such a plan does. Look at how divided the U.S. is with all the petty crap. In politics, you fight the fight for power. When you win you are generous to the preceding party and consider they did their best. Now is not the time to look back but to look forward. Pita or who ever is going to be PM is going to need to unite the country in order to get support for the things they want to accomplish. The backroom boys will be very upset.
  12. Not sure about BKK but if you don't mind a BTS trip, I would suggest ZEER Rangsit is the perfect spot to get your laptop repaired. It is the same setup as Pantip used to be many shops and many technicians.
  13. It will be the military and the old school pols that he has to worry about they have already started legal proceedings against him and the PT leadership.
  14. YOu really have not looked at cities like Portland or Vancouver. San Francisco is another spot to look. Making drugs legal or at least a minor chrge does not work people more people buy and more people get addicted. Where I will agree to a point is if they make it legal but restrict where it can be sold and who can make the drugs then there is a benefit because you know people are not getting stuff that is laced with other things like fentanyl.
  15. No there are going to be a lot of business people that are going to lose money. You can not hide a place like Wonderland in NANA it is too big an operation. as well as all the other shops that have opened. Going to be interesting to see what landlords and businesses do.;
  16. Yeah when I moved in with GF in order to get cheaper rent she signed the lease. When I went to do retirement they needed her to complete the tm30 as the house was in her rental name. Maybe it is the business man in me but I always take more than I think I will need jus in case. Even taking the gf with me still . All it costs me is a coffee at starbucks lol but is a safety incase something comes up
  17. Principals get very little of the downtime that teachers get. Most schools are still open and they are responsibe for hiring new staff and arranging for students. For that part of the country i would say that is a high wage and probably is a means to getting her to go there. She seems young for the position but then again I am sure they do not have a lot of people banging the doors to teach there.
  18. Go to nana some pretty big shops in outstanding location. Pattaya walking street the same. If I was anutin I would leave the country quickly. I am sure that there are going to be aot of angry people looking for him.
  19. When dealing with immigration it is always best to cover all bases. Wife may not be needed but in the event she is you are covered. Whose name is house in. That's one of the things she can alleviate.
  20. I note that dad has not come here to try to help. Leaving everything to a Philippine gf not the best move
  21. I read the paper they put in the cup. If not sure of bar I pay as I go
  22. I actually hope they get their holiday extended. Give them separate accommodation for 30 days. Charge with guilty and note it on their records as well as blacklist them Will be interesting to see how the British rags make them look like they are the victim
  23. Got to wonder how many other couples have been there sounds like the perfect place for a young couple with. No car in the back of a truck sounds normal to me
