One of the best things about living in Thailand, is having pretty women smile back at me, when I am out and about. In places I've lived in England, one usually gets a mouthful of abuse for smiling at people.

I retired as soon as I could afford it - at 38.

Great link, thanks, Mr B. The switch is seized, it's been a while since I played this guitar, I'll have a go at repairing / replacing it myself.
-
As we've suddenly gone on to guitars, is it easy to install a new volume pot on a Gibson Les Paul ? The one on my guitar has seized up, and won't adjust the volume. I was planning on ordering one on line and doing the job myself.

OK Thank you.

It's OK Chic. Found it.
The full hypothetical table. Even though we would have finished lower, I'm still for it.
Can you please supply a link to this Mr B ? I've tried that google thing, and got nowhere....thank you.

Rafa Benitez starting off the season with Real Madrid, and finishing it with Newcastle, is like going to bed with Miss World and waking up with Susan Boyle.....

Family Court Ruling from Newcastle Yesterday :
A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday, when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents, and the judge initially awarded custody to his Aunt, in keeping with the child custody law, and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the best degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his Aunt beat him more than his parents, and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his Grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family, and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to Newcastle United, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

My apologies - I just noticed that I had won this.
Thanks to Mr Bojangles, for all of his hard work in running the competition, and I hope to see all fellow competitors again next season. -
As this is about Indian Food, can anyone tell me the name of the company that makes frozen samosas, that are stocked by Makro ? Our local Makro used to sell them, but appear to have stopped doing so. If I can find out who is the manufacturer, I may be able to get them from elsewhere.
Thank you.
Makro stocks/stocked 2 frozen Samosas , RangMahal ,normal sized ones in a box,(still do)
and the ones I liked most,a tray of small ones made in Malaysia, they sold well, but
with a lot of things here, you see them and never see them again.they were a good
little, anytime snack.
regards worgeordie
surely there must be someone making them in PAHURAD MARKET BKK.
Sorry it's too far away for me, WorGeordie....though I believe Bunters foods do them in Bangkok.
-
I've looked on the internet, and can't find a photo of the box for Rang Mahal's samosas.....I'm hoping that my niece (who's English is not very good), can bring me a box from Phitsanulok - does anyone have such a photo ?
-
OK I will, thank you, SantiSuk.

Anywhere to watch the Championship on TV in Thailand?
Newcastle fan ? lol
365 Sport TV advertise that they show the Championship, on their system.
-
Really hope that True don't get the rights - I hate them. The staff in the shop where we live are awful. I complained about them on Facebook, and the company blocked me.
As the mighty Boro are back in the Pl next season, I guess I'll be looking into the 365 Sport TV Package, and an improved internet connection - anything but True- bleeding-Vision !
I have had no problems with CTH, I have been with them from the start, and have enjoyed their coverage of the PL, but having read the other comments on here, I seem to be in a minority. -
Thanks for the reply, Oxx. I thought that our local Makro had just stopped stocking the samosas, as I seemed to be the only one that bought them !
-
Does anyone know who has been awarded the Premier League Broadcasting rights for Thailand next season ?

Surely the Banks would be against anyone providing their details to a third party ?
What happens if one refuses to give these details ? I am due to renew my retirement visa next week.
A Visa cannot be renewed in Thailand therefore it is unlikely you will be asked to complete the form
Clever, pedantic replies such as that are the reason a lot of people avoid Thai Visa.

I don't have a bank account in any country of the world, I'm old school, cash under the mattress of my bed.
Twitter? Email? Social media? What's that?
Phone number? haven't had a phone for years.
Where do I socialize? in my room.
No need to tell anyone, anything of use.
If I had Mary Christmas in my room, I wouldn't got out, either.

Thank you both for your replies, much appreciated.

Is it still a requirement for the 800,000 Baht to be in the account for three months, for a retirement stamp renewal ?

Football related, so I hope this is the correct forum...

I always get a receipt from the local Post Office, when I post my 90 day report, stating that the report has been posted, in case of any problems.
