I had sent my 90 day report, by EMS, and hadn't received the reply, when I went to renew my retirement stamp at Phitsanulok Immigration. I asked about the 90 day report, while I was there, and they showed me a book with all the 90 day reports listed in it, including mine, and when they had sent back the receipt. I would imagine all Immigration Offices do this.
My receipt finally arrived a few days later. Always keep your receipt from the Post Office, for proof that you have posted your report.- 1

^Not really - I can't drink - for health reasons. Would much rather watch it at home.

There are no pubs where I live.

Is it possible to subscribe to these 2 channels for just a month, in order to watch the Championship play off Final om Monday next ? How does one go about this ? I already have CTH, but these channels aren't part of the subscription.

Just an update, my wife applied for her British Passport on April 21st in Bangkok, she got a phone call today to tell her it's ready, just under two weeks to process everything.

I read somewhere that the Thai embassy in London get an average of 18 Thai women every day wanting to go back home due to abuse.
Wonder if the Thai Embassy in London is as helpful as the British Embassy in Bangkok?
When my wife tried to contact the Thai Embassy in London, a few years ago, they didn't even answer the phone. She tried lots of times, (and it was the correct number), before giving up. Hopefully they will have improved since then.

There's always two sides to every story. We were in Bangkok, earlier this week, and while they were several taxi drivers who did not want to use the meter, the ones who did use it, were very friendly and efficient. Perhaps it would help customers to report the bad taxi drivers, if the drivers were made to put their licences on the passenger window, so that their numbers could be easily noted down, for folks who want to do that.

Thanks for that williewolf ! It's difficult to know what to do, when we live so far from Bangkok, and don't know our way around the place at all.

Thanks for that, but I read somewhere that the services in Trendy are both expensive and are not accepted by the UK Passport service.
Difficult to know who or what to believe ! -
Can anyone please advise on where we can get documents translated from Thai into English, that will comply with the UK government's passport service requirements ?
We are intending to travel down to Bangkok next week.
Thank you. -
Can anyone please advise me where I can get my wife's Thai ID card and blue address book (Tambien baan), translated into English and which is approved and will be accepted by the UK passport office ? We live up north, and are going to have to travel down to Bangkok to do this, and also go to the passport renewal place.
Just to clarify, my wife (Thai) needs to renew her UK passport. -
I traveled to Penang by train from Bangkok around 15 years ago, loved every minute of it. Much prefer train travel to buses or cars. I hope our lovely Province does get a rail link, it would be nice to see more money coming up here, from tourists.

Can anyone please advise on which Thai companies are approved by the British Passport Office, for translating documents from Thai to English, for the purpose of renewing a British passport ?

Thank you digitalchromakey, as I understand it we have to copy every page from her Thai passport. It's the "official" translation, I'm worried about. How does one know if the office will accept the translation we get ?
