I was going to watch two new very popular Netflix TV shows. I forget the name of them. Both of them were wide screen, just like watching through a letterbox. There was no way I was going to watch anything with about 30% of my screen blank. I can understand this years ago, but not now in this day and age, so I say again, what is it with netflix?

Does anyone ever use My Flixer? They have a great selection of TV shows, but in my experience it is almost impossible to watch a TV show, ie Law and Order, without it sometimes stopping, usually only for a few seconds, then you get a wee circle continually going round and round in the middle of your screen. Anyone else experience this?

I would agree about the tattoo ban if it was a lot of tattoo's and not just the odd one, the reason being that these people would have a low IQ wanting to deliberately disfigure themselves. Again all these dumbasses would have to do is wear long trousers and a log sleeved shirt.

This would be very handy for me Charlie as I have been locked out of my UK bank account for four months. I plan to take legal action against them when I get back to the UK next month, but I can arrange my finances so I can maybe get legal aid, or even a no win no fee deal. My bank admitted to being at fault and offered me 150 GBP compensation and still won't let me into my account for security reasons. If I was never intending to go back to the UK again, then your topic would have been a great help to me.

This is a bit off topic but is the same situation. I was sitting in my plane to come from Dubai to Bangkok and a man wearing a vest exposing full length horrible hairy arms sat next to me, I suggested to him that he should put on a shirt, he just ignored me, maybe he couldn't speak English, so I went and spoke nicely to one of the cabin crew who was very polite, she went and had him removed.

This ridiculous 90 day reporting should be stopped, which other country does it? It is OK for people who have an IO in their town/city. My IO office is about 60 Ks from where I live and there is no public transport to it. What happens when I am too old to ride a motorbike that distance. This is one of the reasons that is going to force me back home to my home country.

When I first joined this forum many years ago my username was Possum1931. That was supposed to be my password, I am not sure whether it was me or the forum who made the mistake. In more recent years a kind mod allowed me to change my user name to NoshowJones without me losing my postcount. NoshowJones and Possum are the names my Country Music idol George Jones was known by.

If I go to Maneerat at 9 am to renew my retirement extns, pay my 15,500BT fee the "illegal" way and already have an account with Krungthai bank, will it take all day now? Exactly one year ago I used my Bangkok bank account got taken to the IO everything was finished about 1pm, with the bank account changing, will it be much longer this time? Thanks.
