  1. Are there no companies in the Philipines that can give you an address there similar to Ghostmail in the UK?
  2. I understand Old King Charlie can force a general election if Reform keep outvoting both Labour and The Tories and the whole UK population are protesting all over the country. That would be a chance for him to at least earn one of his many medals.
  3. Maybe so, but at least she is University educated, not like the unelected PM who ruled for nine years through an illegal coop and has only been educated by a Military Academy.
  4. I arrived in Thailand with a re entry permit on 28th May, can you tell me the date of my 90 day report? Thanks.
  5. What a load of nonsense. The soldiers responsible from the unelected coup leader Prayut down to his generals, probably had about the same low IQ as the Somchai in the street, yes Thaksin was certainly a criminal, but he was an elected PM and like his daughter and sister is University educated while Prayut only had a Military Academy education. Prayut is a far bigger criminal than Thaksin ever was.
  6. Is that General Custer on the posters avatar?
  7. Maybe I have missed something but it does not mention ie the time to pick for your bus.
  8. That is far too sensible for a Banana Republic of Thailand to comprehend.
  9. When I once forgot to shut the bedroom windows it was not long before the flies came in. Surely you have to keep the bedroom windows shut at night.
  10. Can anyone else make out what this guy is saying? Or am I the only one?
  11. Yes, I suppose you are right, but surely there are ways that could safeguard the banks and finance companies.
  12. You must have one of the few cars that do not have tinted windscreens.
  13. So what? The drunk driving morons would then have to keep paying the banks or finance companies, or if they cannot afford the payments on their confiscated vehicles they can sell their homes or if they need their car for their work then they will have to get another job even if it is just labouring, there are plenty of these jobs in Thailand, and if it is a farang then they should just be allowed to take a job reserved for Thai's until their loans are paid off. This may seem harsh on these selfish drunken drivers, but it is no more than what they deserve.
  14. Cars and motorbikes driven by drunk drivers over the limit should be confiscated for good after the first time, not after so many warnings, and before some drink driving posters start with their thumbs down emo's, try and think about those who have lost family members or relations to these drunk driving morons.
  15. I am seeing my bank tomorrow and will ask for a refund. Thanks.
  16. No! But I will keep an close eye on every deduction I use.
  17. "CERTIFIED departments require the sworn officers or deputies take a physical fitness tests monthly and or yearly". I watch police movies and TV series all the time, and many times see some of them obviously overweight, I know they are only actors ie Tosh Lines in the old UK police series The Bill. What I am trying to say is I do not believe real police officers take regular monthly fitness tests.
  18. Then you hit a queue at the traffic lights and wish you were on a motorbike.
  19. I now use Krungthai bank. I use my card regularly so never noticed such a small amount, I got suspicious when I checked my app and saw money taken out on that same day. If I freeze the card and then want to use it after banking hours what do I do?
  20. I only keep my BB account open to transfer money by using Wise. They took 2000Bt from my account from two different companies in Cyprus who I had never heard of. I cancelled my debit card and transferred my money to a different bank leaving only 2000Bt in my BB.
  21. So I just have to accept this. I have got the bank to close this account which now means I have to get a new bank card. How do I know this won't happen again? I have a debit card, does the bank not take any responsibility? Is this a Thai thing? It has never happened in all my years in the UK.
  22. Who are they? Does anyone know? They have taken a total of 1306. 78 Baht from my bank account 3 times in the last 3 months. First payment 344. 82, second 352. 77, third 509.19 Baht. I have seen my bank about it, none of the staff can speak English so we used Google Translate to communicate with each other. The teller showed me a list of all my transactions in the last 3 months and highlighted the 3 times this happened. The teller I paid it with my bank card. How could I have paid it when I have never heard of Totalav.
  23. Not sure if this is actually off topic. Can you be sued for defamation if while living in Thailand, you make a complaint in public about a company who is not based in Thailand?
