  1. As it stands today, are most of the shops open at Swampy, near enough like they were before the pandemic? What time do most of the shops close at night? My flight leaves at 01 15am, is the airport deserted at about 11pm apart from the passengers? Thanks.
  2. I think everyone will be pleased when things are the same as before the pandemic, but this soldiers government also need to make it easier for long stayers under the age of 50.
  3. You are right about Lazada, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life, always problems signing in, cheating sellers, telling you an item is out of stock then another seller having it and almost doubling it's price. One item in particular that I have been buying for years, price 125Bt, now 235Bt.
  4. My Lenovo laptop is only three years old, and I am the only one who has ever used it. but the keyboard is really dirty and it is getting very hard to type, is there any way of cleaning it, or do I have to replace the keyboard which I think would be very expensive? Is it worthwhile asking at my local computer shop to have it cleaned?
  5. "The next step is they will drop the insurance thing." I'm not to sure about that JT. The insurance is a good moneymaker both for the soldiers government and their pals in the insurance business.
  6. The soldiers government were able to start their stupid rules immediately, so why can't they stop them immediately?
  7. Is there still not the problem of which vaccines are accepted in which countries, or is the Chinese ones that are said to be useless accepted?
  8. I ordered jars of shredless marmalade from Lazada, then gat an email saying they were out of stock and would I like ordinary marmalade instead, I said no. About two weeks later I tried ordering them again, then they had them, they increased their price from 125Bt per jar to 235Baht per jar. Yes, different sellers, but now I am have problems signing in, something to do with security. If Lazada treated customers like this in a normal country they would soon be out of business.
  9. The soldiers running Thailand are the main cause of these problems.
  10. I don't care how many paragraphs are in his posts, I read every one of them, and agree with every word he says. If every poster was as entertaining as spidermike, this would be some forum.
  11. Yes, that's what happens when you get tinpot soldiers with an unelected (by the electorate) PM with probably average Thai IQ's running the country.
  12. Yes I bought her house, but only after some due diligence and a couple of trips back and forth to the UK. No, I have never paid her housekeeping money apart from a share of the electricity. We have been together 15 years now, she is a university graduate and has her own money as I have mine.
  13. For question no 2. Change that to, not including sex that was paid for, and see the difference.
  14. "Never felt treated like a criminal." So you don't do 90 day reports then?
  15. Still trying to find out if the Nana Hotel still do the breakfast buffets. They won't answer my email.
  16. I saved about 5000 Baht by booking at the airlines office than booking online.
