    Yes, they were handling my apartment booking for the UK and they were the link between me and the apartment staff, so I had to go through them everytime I had a question for the staff and when I asked them then clicked the reply I was told most times that the email address did not exist, although the odd time it did, so I would not recommend booking.com

    Do not use Booking.com they ask you to reply to an email ✉️ then tell you it does not exist. This happened to me at least six times.

    Where do you get a physical travel agent up country? The ones in Bangkok all closed during the Chinese virus and never opened again, there are two cities within about 50 Ks from me, but to my knowledge none have any travel agents. When I was back in Scotland recently there were plenty of travel agencies, in one mall there were two across from each other.

    I always carried a hammer under my seat when in the UK, and I also kept a pick axe handle at my door. All it would take is someone to threaten me with violence and I would not think twice about using them. When you are alone in your house or car in a place like the UK, you have to look after yourself but in saying that I never had to use any of them.

    Pass by any Highway police station and there will always be at least one patrol car sitting parked there.

    I live in a small town/village up country and it is not unusual to see Thai men young and old going about shirtless.

    I had the exact same problem my tracking no told me my item is being held at customs, this was about 7 weeks ago, at Samut Prakarn. Amazon is not interested. so it seems that's me lost my item. Beware you don't get caught in the same trap.

    Used to buy in Makro, maybe still can, but my nearest branch did not have last Monday.

    I would strongly advise against using booking.com, a lot of times when I emailed them they invited me to reply, when I pressed the reply button I was told not available or words to that affect. This happened at least six times.

    That's very creditable, but you should not have to do that. KannikaP is right about the forms, besides this 90 day reporting nonsense treating us like criminals on parole is way out of order what other countries treat retiree's like this?

    Did you not read the post about disabling the boats and throwing them lifejackets?

    Never mind America, keep the scrounging b@st@rds out of the UK. As one poster said throw them life jackets, much cheaper than keeping them in hotels etc.
