Anyone got it? Are you confident Thai insurance companies will pay out for hospital expenses, or hospitals will give insurance companies what they need in the event of a claim? I have it on good authority a motorcyclist was taken to hospital and the hospital did not take a blood test to prove the motorcyclist hadn't been drinking, The insurance company then refused to pay out 400,000Bt of hospital treatment because of this. I know this was the hospitals fault for not taking the blood test. But if you have correct filled in the insurance companies form, can you be confident of getting paid in the event of a claim?

This is a sensible post, but only one thing, you cannot educate stupid. The majority of Thai people are decent, honest and non confrontational, but all that goes out the window when they get behind the wheel of a car or jump on a motorbike. and yes, I am talking about most Thai people, though there are still a minority of decent drivers and riders.

What about the people who use electric carts to travel about while playing golf? They may as well just stick to their pub games like snooker and darts, note I said games, not sport. At least walking while playing golf is giving you exercise.

That may apply in Australia, but not in the UK. Is the UK not refusing to give it's OAP's in Thailand and some other countries their annual pension increases and getting away with it? It certainly isn't affecting it's OAP's votes.

Being covered by a Thai insurance company often means no payout in a claim, I would sure like to know what percentage of Thai insurance companies have actually paid out on claims. It can take months and a lot of expense trying to get claims paid out. This post is in answer to Kingstonkid.

I keep very little money in Thailand, it only takes someone to walk out in front of you, get injured, and both they and the police are after you for money, what you haven't got, they cannot get.

Here is some more Lazada nonsense I never mentioned. Every time I try to sign in, and I mean every time.
