Yes should two be separate browsers, but you must have allowed the download at some time and we will have no idea if you have allowed GX to sync with your current browser.
Please wait until someone with better knowledge than mine, to also confirm what I believe, that using GX will not interfere with the original browser.
I had never heard of opera GX. It just appeared on my screen.

So they are two separate browsers from the same Opera and I can brows and explore Opera GX without it interfering with the original browser?

I always use Opera browser and am very pleased with it, and now there is another browser called Opera GX which has appeared. Anyone know if it has anything to do with the Opera I always use? It's icon has also appeared beside all my other icons.
When I open it up there are lots of different things and I won't explore them in case it affects my original Opera. Anyone help?

I remember having to climb onto the roof of my ex's Isaan house in order to get a mobile phone signal to check my email....
Next time I brought emergency rations in the boot of my car because her mom used to feed me fish heads for lunch (she did actually like me!).
She gave you fish heads for lunch because she liked you??

Most crimes is done by police and their boys (drugs) and family relation violence.
Theft of fish and crops, stealing wood, illegal hunting,
Never experienced anything either, but we have 3 dogs, and if we are not there, her parents live at our place 24/7. Always one at our farm. Not me or m gf decision, but her parents, and Im happy they feel that responsibility for our farm and us.
Since day one when we started to build, her father slept on location, and built his little bamboo shelter to sleep.
Two stray dogs kept him with company, and are now two of our trusted guardian dogs.
"Theft of fish and crops, stealing wood, illegal hunting," Yes that probably goes on, but I don't hear about it.

This looks like a biased view to me.
I live in rural thailand and also prefer it to the hustle and bustle but the negatives i have are:
- power cuts almost as soon as it rains
- lack of western foods ( this does not concern me much )
- no agents for visa issues
- trips to bangkok when needed can be a trek
- lack of local airport
- lack of socializing with other expats ( this does not concern me but may some )
- limited options for house furniture
- poor quality of workmanship of trades ( could be said for all Thailand )
- dangerous farm vehicles on the roads
Most of what you have said is true. When I first came here there were plenty of farangs here and in the surrounding area, now I am the only one left here as all the rest have either died or moved away.
I do have to say that I have been very impressed by the workmanship and good prices involving work done around my property since I came here.

There is good days between, but the longer I stay, the more affected I became of the clima and burning. We always travelled often in Thailand, but now Im travelling frequently more back home to escape the heat.
Family and village people are friendly, never had one bad incident, or any problem. Best thing no close neighbours, but still affected when there is funerals, budda days, weddings, and other celebrations and parties which goes on for days.
with Two big shopping days a month I get what I need from Makro and Tops. Which is a roundtrip of 180km
But living like this is not for everybody, even Im born on a farm, it is not a walk in the park.
If you do not have any interests and get up in the morning, it is easy to be bored to death.
Motorbikes, large well equippet home gym, farm work, animals and travels make life better and more interesting.
Still Im making a plan for after my 70'ies, or when I know my time is up in Isaan to make a move. Where I do not know yet, since things can change before that.
Most important, do not get stuck
The biggest drawback up here in the boonies is the amount of underage motorbike riders as there are very little if any, police about.
I have to say though that apart from the disgraceful road behaviour, I can't think of any crimes that have been committed in the 17 years I have lived here.

You‘ll get an answer to your question once Rishi has stopped hiding from the electorate.
I have hated every Labour PM in my adult lifetime, all Liars and Hypocrites worse than the Tories towards the working man.

More fear mongering from the UK’s failing PM.
Stop hiding Rishi, call the election.
Rishi is bad enough, but are the British working class people really wanting to vote for a multimillionaire "Sir" as the PM? Do they really think that this "Sir" is going to be interested in them?

I'm a little confused...
The OP states he fell off (sp) a motorcycle taxi, dropped his goodies and that caused a crash. Was it the motorcycle taxi that ran over his stuff and crashed? Or another scooter?
Good question.

And if the applicant is given the all clear and then comes to Thailand and commits crime? Would that help?
Banks should be regulated to do more rigorous KYC checks on who they do business with and the nature and legality of the business trading and any suspicious activity should be reported.
The fact that even tourists and non real resident can open bank accounts in Thailand should be dealt with.
Check the offshore leaks database, one will find many addresses linked to Thailand.
True. Especially the previously unelected PM and the other soldiers involved in the illegal 2014 Coup.

How do you get Bitdefender? A bit off topic but I am fed up getting these AIS adverts all the time.

Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has demanded an explanation from mobile phone provider AIS following a service disruption on Friday evening.
NBTC chairman Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck has stated that AIS, as one of the country's major mobile service providers, must clarify the cause of the disruption and provide compensation to affected customers.
Boonbaichaiyapruck, who was personally impacted by the disruption, has warned that AIS could face sanctions if they fail to offer a satisfactory explanation for the incident.
In response, AIS has issued an apology and pledged to compensate affected subscribers. The company plans to send out SMS messages to customers, including those on unlimited and other packages, outlining the compensation they can expect by Monday.

In London blame Sadiq Khan for expanding ULEZ and nonsensical 20 mph speed limits, raising millions in fines, but then spending millions on DEI appointments as opposed to more police. He is responsible for policing in the capital.
That said, doesn't help to have a woke police force with officers seemingly more concerned about investigating "hate crime" than stopping actual crime.
18 teenagers stabbed to death in London alone in 2023..
Knife crime has risen each year since the pandemic, with 13,503 incidents incidents recorded in the capital between July 2022 and June 2023, a 21% increase on the previous 12-month period.

What has Dubai and UAE got to do with Malaysia or Indonesia? It's as facile as making a match between Russia and the USA because they're both Christian.
From what I understand there is only one Muslim faith and they all believe in the same thing. There are different Christian faiths.

I've lived and worked in both Malaysia (3 years) and Indonesia (8 years), I wouldn't consider either of them unstable. I enjoyed both and made some good friends. Unfortunately westerners view all Muslims as the same, mostly based on what they see in the media rather than any real life experience.
Yes like putting a UK man in jail for complaining to them about the noise they were making in the middle of the night. This happened in Dubai.

Very good guidelines. Now it should be the mantra to stop deleting other people's comments on grounds of the usual "off topic", "inflamatory" , "trolling" etc.... to justify why it is deleted.
Of course if any comment is straighforwardly illegal, nominatively aimed on another member in a rude manner, it obviously has no place to remain. But plainly deleting beacause somebody just reported it for no reason...not sure if that's the best way to make a place grow and develop. I once got deleted just beacause God felt I had posted to many comments, not even rude. The reason given was "take a posting break". That may have been accepted years before, but now with all the competition and other websites ?
A comment with contents that do plainly do not agree on purely ideological grounds should not be deleted. If so, people will just stop comming and numbers will dwindle IMHO. Same for new members and their subscriptions are on "hold" until "approuval" before they can post. C'mon guys...it's not the immigration office here to have such heavy bureaucracy. 🤣
Aaaah! But the immigration offices make up their own rules. I can't see the Mods or Admins doing that here.

I have never had anyone on my ignore list for years. I do keep a personal list though, and there are only three at present. If any poster deliberately tries to upset me, there is a report function and sometimes the chance to upset them back through my own posts.
