I am sick to death of adverts coming on my smartphone from AIS every day and I have to keep deleting them. Anyone else have that problem?

Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has demanded an explanation from mobile phone provider AIS following a service disruption on Friday evening.
NBTC chairman Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck has stated that AIS, as one of the country's major mobile service providers, must clarify the cause of the disruption and provide compensation to affected customers.
Boonbaichaiyapruck, who was personally impacted by the disruption, has warned that AIS could face sanctions if they fail to offer a satisfactory explanation for the incident.
In response, AIS has issued an apology and pledged to compensate affected subscribers. The company plans to send out SMS messages to customers, including those on unlimited and other packages, outlining the compensation they can expect by Monday.

In London blame Sadiq Khan for expanding ULEZ and nonsensical 20 mph speed limits, raising millions in fines, but then spending millions on DEI appointments as opposed to more police. He is responsible for policing in the capital.
That said, doesn't help to have a woke police force with officers seemingly more concerned about investigating "hate crime" than stopping actual crime.
18 teenagers stabbed to death in London alone in 2023..
Knife crime has risen each year since the pandemic, with 13,503 incidents incidents recorded in the capital between July 2022 and June 2023, a 21% increase on the previous 12-month period.

What's a DEI appointment?

What has Dubai and UAE got to do with Malaysia or Indonesia? It's as facile as making a match between Russia and the USA because they're both Christian.
From what I understand there is only one Muslim faith and they all believe in the same thing. There are different Christian faiths.

I've lived and worked in both Malaysia (3 years) and Indonesia (8 years), I wouldn't consider either of them unstable. I enjoyed both and made some good friends. Unfortunately westerners view all Muslims as the same, mostly based on what they see in the media rather than any real life experience.
Yes like putting a UK man in jail for complaining to them about the noise they were making in the middle of the night. This happened in Dubai.

Very good guidelines. Now it should be the mantra to stop deleting other people's comments on grounds of the usual "off topic", "inflamatory" , "trolling" etc.... to justify why it is deleted.
Of course if any comment is straighforwardly illegal, nominatively aimed on another member in a rude manner, it obviously has no place to remain. But plainly deleting beacause somebody just reported it for no reason...not sure if that's the best way to make a place grow and develop. I once got deleted just beacause God felt I had posted to many comments, not even rude. The reason given was "take a posting break". That may have been accepted years before, but now with all the competition and other websites ?
A comment with contents that do plainly do not agree on purely ideological grounds should not be deleted. If so, people will just stop comming and numbers will dwindle IMHO. Same for new members and their subscriptions are on "hold" until "approuval" before they can post. C'mon guys...it's not the immigration office here to have such heavy bureaucracy. 🤣
Aaaah! But the immigration offices make up their own rules. I can't see the Mods or Admins doing that here.

Not sure what's going on, but I've started adding people to my ignore list like never before. Is this an influx of rude folks from Thaiger now that it's merged with AN?
I have never had anyone on my ignore list for years. I do keep a personal list though, and there are only three at present. If any poster deliberately tries to upset me, there is a report function and sometimes the chance to upset them back through my own posts.

Living and working in several Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, I became very much aware of the contempt they have for other religions. A reward in heaven for the killing of an infidel is a tenet deeply embedded in their faith. Very worrying that so many liberal western democracies appear to have no conception of, or deny, the danger that is gradually encircling them.
Why do you work or live in any Muslim country? We all know how unstable they are.

Rather that buy from a Chinese source with no product warranty I'd prefer to buy from a reputable Thai merchant like Mahajak with a 1 year product warranty... see here.
These JBL wired in-ear gaming headphones sound great.
I have now sent for these earphones. Thanks Jai Dee, and thanks to you too Lopburi3.

The link from Jai Dee is Thailand source sale on Lazada with product warranty if that is worth the higher cost to you.
Thanks, I know Jai Dee. I will look into that link.

Anyone recommend a pair of good quality earphones, not headphones, from Lazada? I bought a brilliant pair at about 1000Bt from Lazada over a year ago recommended by a kind poster, great sound and reliability. I now want a second pair but without the wiring having to go round your ear before you plug it in, your ear that is, my hair covers my ears so it is a hassle to put them in and take them out.
I am fed up with these Bluetooth air pods as they are so unreliable, cutting out, not working and then working again, they also keep falling out of my ears.
Anyone give me a link to a good pair of earphones from Lazada?

And what I posted are plug in units and sold on Lazada. The 800 baht unit would appear to be in the price range you want. These are not Bluetooth.

You said the price is 238 Bt, but thanks a lot.

Not sure if wired earphone like below is what you want or not but I have used JBL for last few years and bought below last week and very happy with them at 238 baht from Lazada. But at 80 plus do not considere myself a Connoisseur by any means - but they do sound much better than others I have used. Others by JBL also available from same store at 800 baht might be more to your likking.

Thanks. Yes your right I am looking for something similar but extra good sound quality. Would want to pay about 1000Bt. I have looked at Lazada, but it is all Bluetooth. I want something that you can just plug into your computer or smartphone, not something that decides to work or not.

“one Thai user called for equality” and what about the entrance fee, foreigners 500 Bht and Thais free
Is that really true? Are foreigners actually paying 500Bt to go into a temple? When I first came to Thailand in 2001 I don't remember paying to go into a temple, and I was in a few unless any girl I was with was paying behind my back.
