  1. I would be a little wary of using a welding O2 tank. Yes its the same oxygen but breathing tanks are purged and refilled and the oxygen tested, welding tanks are not as they are not intended fro human consumption.Just a thought.
  2. Blatantly sold from a bar in the Loi Kroh area of Chiang Mai and customers come from other bars to buy the balloons and take back to their waterhole. I tried it once, just gave me a headache. A friend of mine who works at the bar who sells them has at least 4 large balloons everynight costing 100 baht each. Some nights more drunk on the balloons. Combined with alcohol not good. But she did learn lesson the other night. Caught riding motorbike drunk. Cost her several hours in a cell, a trip to the courts and 9500 fines.
  3. Reminds me of a joke. What is the difference between a catfish and a lawyer? One is a bottom dwelling scum sucking scavenger and the other is just a fish.
  4. Yep, always from day you apply. I think it should be from due date but no. I renew my retirement extension up to 45 days in advance but it is alway 1 year from due date not application date.
  5. I am an Apple user and works most of the time. When it doesn't usually lots of posts from others saying they are having problems. Maybe they all own Apples.
  6. Think I have met that guy in CM. Told me he is an ex Navy Seal, an ex 747 captain, plus more. I felt so privileged to meet him.
  7. Never blamed Thaipost for anything. Just asked if anyone had similar experience.
  8. UPDATE: Arrived at destination today 4th Jan. So it looks like my assumption of Thaipost tracking was correct in that "delivered" meant was delivered to Australia Post then another 12 days to get to delivery address with no further update on Thaipost tracking.
  9. And cheaper.
  10. What? You telling me Google is not always right?
  11. There are As far as safety goes charged or discharged makes no difference. Quote from Google. **Internal Short Circuit**: If the battery has suffered internal damage, it can lead to an internal short circuit. This can generate heat even in an uncharged battery, potentially leading to thermal runaway – a condition where the battery heats up and can catch fire or explode.
  12. I think I know how to read "handed over to local courier" on the tracking steps. If you think you know better good for you. Delivery point was a regional destination and probably not viable for DHL so handed over to subcontractor.
  13. Makes sense or not thats what happened. Detailed tracking France to Brisbane a bit over 2 days. No further tracking for 3 days to go about 100km until it reached its destination in Australia when delivered (actually cant remember if indicated delivered as was not DHL itself). As I mentioned in a previous post when it got to Brisbane it showed as handed over to local courier when tracking stopped.
  14. Thanks for that. Tried it but came up with message "The tracking ID is invalid or might have expired." Australia post now says parcel not trackable.
  15. Australia Post just says error on their end. Possibly stolen.
  16. Post office in Chiang Mai on 19 Dec and "delivered" 23rd. I think very fast for this time of the year.
  17. It was sent by DHL but like I say only tracking I got after it arrived in Australia was handed over to local courier. At Thai post office I asked for it to be tracked.
  18. Recently sent a parcel from Chiang Mai to Bribie Island in Australia. I asked for tracking for which I was given a tracking number. Checking tracking it showed parcel delivered which seemed to be exceptionally fast. On further checking it appears that when handed over to Australia post it was marked as delivered. It was shown as delivered on 23rd Dec but as of end 29th it hasn't been received by addressee. Last time a parcel was sent to same address from France detailed tracking was provided online and when reached Australia the message was handed to local courier but not as delivered. Anyone else have this issue?
  19. I think the larger Apple dealers can provide training but not sure where in Thailand. Most Apple shops, like Studio 7, are resellers.
  20. Recently saw a video where a guy bought several power banks to check internal battery ratings as compared to total rating for the power bank itself. Most held 2 lithium batteries and all but one brand were underrated as compared to the rating on the unit. Some by a fair gap. One brand's batteries did total the unit rating, unfortunately I can not remember the brand. I will add later if I remember. I posted this so people are aware.
  21. Never been to one of them so not sure what they have.
  22. Thanks for all the replies.
  23. Yep, already ordered some stuff from Lazada but would like to be able to go into a shop and look at moles. Thank you.
  24. Hello. Anyone know of a hobby shop in Chiang Mai that sells plaster of paris, silicone molds to make small items and plaster colour powders? Thanks for any help.
  25. I have had full body massage with them using baby powder. Hands still glide freely. Easy to wash off.
