Obviously still see a few people wearing masks. I went to Chiang Mai RAM Hospital yesterday and every staff member in view were wearing masks and so were a lot of the patients there. Anything I have missed about Chiang Mai? I know covid is on the rise again in certain areas of the world.

I am 68 and still have strong desire. Can usually get it up but sometimes need a bit of medicine help. I do have trouble reaching the peak so ladies are usually happy in that I can last longer. I usually lose energy before hardness. After that it doesn't take much energy to dine at the Y. I sometimes drink with a farang friend in his mid 50s who says he is just not interested anymore. We usually goto Thai bars, the latest with many very attractive young ladies and he basically shows little to no interest in them. He is married though.

Of course uncirculated is the most valuable but doesn't mean circulated notes can not be valuable. Refer to my post. $1000 for a well circulated note is not bad.

Not sure about Thai banknotes but definitely dos not apply to Australian notes. I had a Commonwealth of Australia $20 star not which I sold for $1000aud. It was definitely circulated with stains and folds, etc. However a coin value book at the time did place it at around $20,000 uncirculated.

Ok for a little while but in the near future you will soon require. One reason for the Thai Govt to offer 10,000 baht to 50 million Thais which will be paid to a digital wallet. For 10,000 I think most people will get a smartphone if they don't own one.

Was at the bars recently and one of those ladies selling small packs snacks came past. A bar lady asked me for some snacks. I just said I had no cash so the seller showed a tag hanging around her neck, a QR code. On the other hand went to the newest 711 near me and bought a fair amount of stuff. Checked out so said scan (QR) please. Reply was sorry don't have.

Didn't see post. Just noticed lately my area the reducing numbers. With cashless making it way into our lives we probably wont need ATMs in the future is I guess cost cutting by banks and also to get us more used to using QR codes on our phones.

I mainly use QR code but had a few issues lately that I could not use it after midnight with Bangkok Bank. So ATMs my main back up but now disappearing. Just carry small amount cash. My main point of post it ATMs disappearing from servos and 711s and other none bank locations.

I live in Chiang Mai. Previously all 711s that I have visited had an ATM. Recently one I often pass and sometimes stop to use the ATM, the ATM had gone. New 711 nearby no ATM. Yesterday I went to Rimping near iron bridge which used to have ATM, cash deposit and passbook update machines. All gone. Admittedly there are renovations being carried out so maybe removed for that. Last night was heading to local Thai bar for a drink and stopped at PTT station to fill car. Previously ATM there, gone. Drove a bit further and stopped another 711, no ATM. Thankfully I could use QR code with my bank app but do like to carry some cash.

I just love the way people on here automatically KNOW everything. Yes I met her in a bar but no moving in either way. And my acquaintances, husband and wife knew her some time back from the bar they frequently drank at and the wife did actually tell me that this girl was nice. Very wrong and the wife now knows this.

Not just male narcissist do damage, female can do also. I regard myself, as others do, regard myself as a good person and this lady I posted about did a lot of damage to me for a time. Not really strange if people do not understand about NPD because if not involved with a bad one how would you know?

You don't see the toxicity as you were not involved with her and don't try to claim you know. I didn't say the demand for salary was toxic it was a lot more of her behaviour which i have not bothered listing all on here. I have been here 11 years and have had various relationship but none "love bombed" to the degree she did. You said only issue was I bought it. What did I buy, where did I say I gave her money? She demanded a large salary and I refused to pay that amount. I did agree on a smaller amount but she wasn't happy with that amount so I did not pay.

Certainly have had experience. Christmas last was sitting at a bar in Chiang Mai with some friends from Oz. This cute little lady turns up and starts talking to them as they knew each other a few years back. We were sitting outside the bar and, as it was cool we moved inside. My fiends and I sat one table and this girl another. I signalled to her did she want a drink. When she got her drink she came to me and said let's go outside which I did. We seemed to hit it off really well and we had a good night. To cut a long story short I did get involved with her and we were together a few months She did send up some red flags and I should have gotten out then, but stupid me stayed on. In the end she demanded a high monthly salary and when I denied she just left in an instant. Don't know what triggered me to look but I realised she was an extreme narcissist. She loved bombed me from the first night and carried it on. I discovered later some of those red flags were her being "busy" with at least one other guy. I really did care for her (great at her love bombing) and I hurt for quite awhile. After reading and watching videos about narcissists I still felt bad but did understand more on why she did what she did. Narcissist only care about themselves and can not really love or care others. She was very toxic. So if anyone living in Chiang Mai comes across a short (140cm) and around 35 very cute lady in bar area and she "loves" you from the start, RUN.

Last time I did one in Chiang Mai was a month wait or 500.
