  1. I assume that the "murdered" part was an error, since you plan to adopt the girl? In any case one can only hope the hearing on the 10th will be just a formality. Can your GF not attend?
  2. The doctors I have recommended are at the Samitivej Sukhumvit branch. Click on the links I gave and you can make an appointment online. Samitivej has a particularly well developed pediatric service with pediatric specialists of all types.
  3. In post #3 I already gave you recommendations of 3 specialists in pediatric dermatology at Samitivej Children's Hospital. I have since verified that all of them are female. There are also several specialists in pediatric sallergy/immunology at Samitivej Children Hospital. Female ones include: https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/nuthaitip-kashemsri-na-ayudhya (Us trained including at Harvard) https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/pantipa-chatchatee (also US trained) https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/suruthai-kurasirikul (also US trained) For your wife I suggest one of these dermatologist at Samitivej: https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/punyaphat-sirithanabadeekul https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/jitlada-meephansan
  4. As I said before, these locally made ones are too cheap for there to be any market in counterfeiting them. Brand name valium yes, there are fakes, but not these.
  5. On the contrary, he has explained that while he would prefer the less expensive government health care route his wife and daughter object to the longer waits.
  6. A stress test alone would not include ultrasound (echocardiogram). That is a separate test. I could advise you better if I knew what your issues were/why you think you need an interventional cardiologist
  7. Hep B Vaccine schedule is: Birth 1 month 2 month 4 month 6 month
  8. The best interventional cardilogist in CM is Dr. Thanawat Benjanuwattra. Nowadays only at Bangkok Hospital. Another well recommended one is Dr. Pattarapong Keelapang who is at CM Ram Hospital. I can't give a recommendation specific to McCormack, sorry. Their website listing of doctors does not function well and I have never heard any feedback on any of their cardiologists.
  9. I live right near there (using south side entrance in Prachinburi) Sometimes get the Thai price showing my pink ID and driver's license and sometimes they refuse. Unpredictable.
  10. Your list is missing one: Hep B vaccine 2nd dose (3rd if counting the birth dose) should also be given at 4 months. Assuming your child is a Thai citizen, except for possibly the pneumovoccal (IPD) vaccine these can all be received free of charge at any government hospital or health center. For IPD you might need to go private. Pattaya Memorial Hospital is usually the least expensive private option in Pattaya itself. Another good private option if willing to travel a bit is Phayathai Sri Racha hospital. Call 037--317-333 for costs
  11. There is no "embargo". Nor any conspiracy. Just free market economics thus far unmitigated by any governmental or charitable foundational involvement. It is a quite new vaccine, first received US FDA approval only 2 years ago. The manufacturer had a real struggle producing enough to meet the demand in the US market for the first year after it came on market and there was a serious shortage in US initially.. . Gradual expansion to other markets began only last year. In time it will be available in more countries and price will be less. How much less depending on how well countries negotiate and the anticipated size of their market among other things. I would assume it already costs much less in China. In Thailand the constraint is the cost to the manufacturer of applying for and maintaining registration vs. low market demand (government health schemes don't cover it, and are still struggling to finance care for life threatening conditions in the elderly). Zostavax was recently pulled off the Thai market due to insufficient sales (a Korean made equjvalent, Skyzoster, is still on market).
  12. Where on earth do you find it for $294 for 2 injections? Going rate is over $200 for each injection. I was able to get $200 (each injection) even using GoodRx. Neither Gates Foundation nor WEF/GAVI had anything to do with development or production of this vaccine. AFAIK it has been a 100% private sector initiative hence the high cost. Cost likely will come down eventually once the developed workd market is saturated / and or Western countries with single payer health cover schemes negotiate to buy it in bulk but this is still a ways off.
  13. It is available in Singapore and someone on this board (forget who) got it there. Raffles Clinic and Parkway Shenton would be good places to try. I just sent an inquery to the Raffles clinic in Phnom Penh. Since it is an affiliate, they might have or be able to get it. Will update when I get the reply.
  14. If cannot be ordered in Thailand as the drug is not registered here. Altogether unavailable. It is also not yet available in all Western countries.
  15. I'm in US now and recently got the 1st injection. No side effects at all for me.
  16. Could be many things. Bursitis, cyst etc. You need to show it to a doctor
  17. Moved to Healhh forum. Shingrix is not available in Thailand yet. Only Zostavax equivalent called SkyZoster available.
  18. Bone disease is highly unlikely. As it has been 1/2 months of shoulder pain high time you saw a doctor For ih. Elbow pain is most often tendonitis and often results fgom overuse....computer, sports, weighg lifting etc. Rest and ant-inflammatories, plus sometimes an elbow brace udually do the trick over time.
  19. It does not matter whether anything else is in envelope. I ewould not advise trying to send more than 2-3. Yes if not stopped by customs ut would appear in your msilbox. Note that it is recommended to store unopened pens in refrigerator. And even pens in use should be kept at not more than 30 C. Possible that by the time these reach you they will have been exposed to higher temps.
  20. To minimize risk of customs seizure you have to send USPS. Delivery time depends on many factors including where they mail from, time of year, your lilocal postal service etc. 2 weeks would be rhe very fastest. 1 month more likely and can sometimes be more.
  21. As Lorry said. Technically not legal but customs will often let very small quantities through if sent by regular mail. Often, not always -- and an injectable may be more problematic than pills are. Shipping costs will be small (just send regular air mail). As to time, it varies. Where I live, in the sticks, the answer is often "never". But probably better where you are.
  22. In your case the issue is clearly anxiety and therapy would be best answer. It may not resolve the problem instantly but over time, it should. Once you are directly dealing with your anxiety, and (hopefully) start to make the necessary decisions, problem will likely resolve. These middle of the night awakenings are your unconscious saying in effect "stop avoiding, you have issues to deal with and steps to take!". Once you are doing so effectively in waking life, I think it will let you sleep through the night.
  23. The following are well qualified specialists in pediatric dermatolgy. You will have to call the hospitals to verify if these are female or not (not sure why that matters?) https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/srisupalak-singalavanija https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/ausaneya-urupongsa https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/weena-phuthongkam As for your wife, what exactly is the issue? If acne, any dermatologist can handle and better to avoid the aesthetic clinics.
  24. Therapy rather than medication should be the initial approach with meds in addition only if absolutely necessary. Definitely never medication alone. For therapy I recommend either: Psychological Services International 9/2 Sukhumvit Soi 43 (near Phrom Pong/Emporium) Bangkok 10110, Tel: 02-2591467 http://www.psiadmin.com/ or NCS New Community Services 61/1 Soi Intamara 3 Sutisan Road Phaya Thai (Sapan Kwai Area) plus 2 branch offices: Bearing and Asoke Tel.: 02-114-7556 Email: [email protected] https://ncsbkk.com/ncs/index.php/counseling/about/ If medication is necessary (something therapist can help you decide), many therapists have a psychiatrist they refer to.If not, this doctor is highly recomended: https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Suttiporn-Janenawasin
  25. I also renewed my premium directly (actually even when it was AA, I always had to pay the premium direct to April, only difference was that AA used to send me a reminder, this time I had to remember on my own. Renewals aren't a big issue but I will surely miss Jenny's assistance with claims for things not paid direct to hospital (e.g. out patient after care, and day surgeries<$2,000 that did not need pre-approval). Continue to want to find a good broker handling international policies. Surprised nto a single person so far can suggest one. @Etaoin Shrdlu any suggestions? I can find plenty online but no idea which are more solid.
