  1. You cannot seriously be advocating that as a reason for johnson to avoid the responsibilities of his role. Laughable and ludicrous once more.
  2. Well what do you know, who would have ever thought the head of the CBI and myself would be of accord ”Danker urged Johnson to meet his two potential successors, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, to thrash out “the principles given they disagree on the mechanics” so the new prime minister is able to implement their plan on 5 September as “people are going to start making decisions now about their finances and life choices” https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/aug/09/head-cbi-urges-boris-johnson-immediate-help-energy-bills?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  3. The two are intrinsically intertwined
  4. And neither have I changed my view on that…
  5. ah huh…already quoted from the OP to show that is not true… But to once more help you out, here’s thebquote from the linked article… ”Mr Johnson is due to leave office in early September”
  6. nope. You said there was no head of government. You are wrong.
  7. Nonetheless you are still wrong.
  8. truss doubling down on her planned tax cuts that experts in economics say will not benefit those most in need of help. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/09/liz-truss-stands-firm-on-tax-cuts-over-support-for-energy-bills?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  9. now are you sure that’s true…the OP would suggest otherwise. To help you out, here’s a quote from the linked article… ”Mr Johnson is due to leave office in early September”
  10. Don’t see anyone complaining about the election of a new tory leader, inaction on the problems facing the country by the current govt…well that’s another matter.
  11. The role of government is to govern all the time, holidays or not. The fact you espouse such simplistic nonsense that everyone is on holiday is both ludicrous and laughable.
  12. Oh dear, anyone with views you dislike is advocating a country to fail…grow up.
  13. I celebrate that a truss win will in all probability end this tory govt. I have never wished for the people to endure the crisis’ that the current govt refuses to address.
  14. Their unwillingness or inability to agree on measures will consign the country to another month of inactivity and further misery. If they are unable to come to some sort of measures both will agree to continue after the vote shows how unfit they are to take on the role. johnsons refusal to act is contemptible but hardly out of character.
  15. We are on this thread, I believe posts are removed as trolling when they reference other threads…
  16. We are on this thread, I believe posts are removed as trolling when they reference other threads…
  17. As I said, truss and sunak fiddle and dance the u turn foxtrot while johnson does nothing as the country disappears down the rabbit hole.
  18. I haven’t mentioned Johnson’s proclivity to lie once on this thread, one wonders why you resort to it when you are trying to scrabble out of that hole you are digging… oh wait… got it.
  19. See last reply to you as you are once more repeating the same already answered post.
  20. The govt under johnson’s final miserably inactive days have stated they will do nothing as the last two quotes, given in response to your posts, from the OP show.
  21. As I said, truss and sunak fiddle and dance the u turn foxtrot while johnson does nothing as the country disappears down the rabbit hole.
  22. Dream on. From the OP (bbc) ”Boris Johnson has no plans to introduce big tax and spending measures before he leaves office to ease the cost-of-living crisis, Downing Street has said.”
