Sounds about right. The panels are rated at IIRC 20C. The output voltage decreases with increased temperature. A fact that has cost a number of charge controllers for those in the "cooler" climes when on a -10C day the output voltage rose enough to kill things dead.

All good stuff above ^^^, a few thoughts. I would try to avoid any valley roofs; they look very nice. But, they always leak, and if the drain is too small or blocked you are in a world of hurt. Is your "rice field view" worth looking at, why not make the living area look out that way? Which way is north on your drawing, you need to consider which walls will be getting the direct sun and heating up (add cavity construction). Are you considering solar power? Where? I'd probably put the car parking at the front and the pool at the rear out of sight of the gawking neighbours. it's worth visiting your local district office, they usually have lots of free house plans available which you can then customise, at least they will give you an idea.

Probably, the closest you will get in the foreseeable future is to be able to use your contactless EMV (credit or debit) card to travel (MRT and Red Line already do it), but that won't do elderly stuff, just base adult fare, great for tourists of course.

I know @JAS21 (same inverter) was seeing some throttling earlier in the month and was experimenting with a fan.

Certainly, a tad warm, but nothing to worry about yet. I thought it might be throttling the output at about 3PM, but it's just the sun has gone AWOL.

Yeah, there's a pretty big glass recycling place near us. Beer cans (I seem to generate rather a lot of them), old lead-acid batteries, scrap steel etc. are all bagged up and sold by family for a bit of extra income. The bin-pickers really don't get a lot of joy with our bins.

Have you tried pulling the plug, having a coffee, then plugging it back in? I really do not recommend trying DIY fixes on a microwave, parts of the works can remain LETHAL even when the beast is powered off and unplugged. There's probably a local "man" who fixes stuff, ask your local bike taxi guys (they know everybody). At 12 years old it's really end-of-life and a new one is in order.

Complete the job with adhesive-lined heatshrink and you're good for many years.

For domestic level kit it's just the normal grid-island protection built-in to an approved inverter plus surge suppression, proper grounding arrangements and Type-B RCDs. Check out the PEA website, there's a bunch of stuff there, in Thai of course. If you go large, then there's a whole new world of hurt!
