  1. A bunch of posts which break Aseannow Community Guidelines have been removed.
  2. High last night, stable. For now! Bangkok tide for the next couple of weeks.
  3. They just do not make 'em like this any more ...
  4. High last night, nice to see Mr Jetski has a life preserver on board. No data update from the dams at present. Definite dampness in the village but nowhere near worry level yet.
  5. Yeah, have a look on Lazada or Shopee for a "door rain deflector" or "door rain drip guard" in amongst all the car ones there are a few that would probably do the trick.
  6. I assume you're looking for something like this: - Amazon but it's a bit pricey https://www.amazon.com/Barzen-Door-Guard-inches-White/dp/B0BDNSYNP3?th=1 You could try taking the photo to your local hardware outlets.
  7. No real problem with your proposals, several members are doing something similar. Have a look at what @Bandersnatch is doing. https://cleantechnica.com/2025/05/27/my-eco-journey-in-thailand/ https://www.youtube.com/@EcoHouseThailand How much solar and energy storage are you anticipating? We have our panels, energy storage (90kWh) and inverters (26kW) remote from the house (in the car port) mostly for convenience although having that much energy tied up in a room that's basically in our living area would be a worry. I would make provision for A/C in the plant room, you may or may not actually need it if it's well shaded. Assuming LiFePO4 batteries as opposed to lead-acid they don't vent gasses except possibly under fault conditions so no special ventilation required. I would include suitable detectors in the room. EDIT Would your solar install be DIY or by a dedicated contractor?
  8. Somewhere near last night's high (the EON stream is a bit variable), definitely showing a degree of upness.
  9. For those who don't know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYFcZKpZi88
  10. It does seem that Yahoo are now geoblocking searches initiated from Thai IP addresses. I get the same behaviour, works with a VPN doesn't without.
  11. Got an upgrade from Business on my last trip to Cairo, sadly on the shorter DXB-CAI leg, very nice although I wouldn't pay my own wonga for it. There were a lot of confused passengers in First, I suspect we were selected so they could train cabin crew Of course I didn't strip the cubicle of everything not nailed down (they even give you a tote to put your loot in)
  12. If the prime just runs into the tank suspect a stuck foot valve. EDIT Beaten to it by @Mister T 🙂 .
  13. Numbers for August, nothing exciting to report, it just works 🙂
  14. The original and best For further details of this ground-breaking device https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo_encabulator
