  5. I'm due my next (1 year) extension 24th September and i will do, like i have done for the last 19 years, and go to Jomtien Immigration 24th August and it's never been a problem .. BUT i always check a few days before what documents are needed incase of unknown changes, and I follow the list to the letter, but on due date it seems I'm always short of a couple of documents, I make this known to the officer, and his reply is .... "never mind" !!!
  6. Pharmacy shops in Thailand are Two a Penny, and most are staffed by a Girl that was last seen working in 7/11.. I use a variety of Pharmacies in East Pattaya, most don't know a Blood thinning pill from a Paracetamol, especially the 24 hour ones, so how can they ever help reduce hospital lines, with staff not knowing much, if anything, about the Medications they are selling, It's dangerous having untrained staff selling drugs...The actual Pharmascist works Monday to Friday 9-5

I visited my G'f's parents home in Buriram a long time ago, I admired the house which was in very good decorative order, but i said why does their 50 yards drive way look unfinished, its a mess, nothing was said until about a month later , then she asked me for 15,000b to pay for the unfinished drive way that looked a mess!!!,.. my idea, I was expected to pay, I did'nt pay, and it never got finished.. maybe the next B/f......

  10. Not a good idea, the car makers estimate that a Battery should last the car's life time, or 20 years BUT if it has to be replaced then estimates come in at around $5000 to $15,000, given that Thai's dont / can't plan for their future, who knows what will happen when they have to replace the Battery at those costs......My old pickup is 21 years old, and has had replacement batteries on average every 3 to 4 years in Thailand , in previous years in Europe i don't recall ever replacing a Battery , must be the heat in Thailand
