    If she's a non virgin deduct 25%, .....if she has a fake, or non education, deduct 25%...if she's a divorcee deduct 25%,..... in my experience most are, ....so you are left with a reasonable 250,000b and the parents must pay for the wedding party which will cost a tidy sum with all the extended family being invited, dont forget she will want a chunk of gold bought for her to wear at the wedding.......been there, done that..

    My Thai brother in law was a Police constable when I met my Missus 10 years ago, today he's a Lt. Colonel, when I asked my wife how he rose to the high ranks in such a short time, she replied my brothers boss likes him, he baby sits for the boss's kids..!!

    I've never understood why a single person has to keep 800,000b locked in a Thai bank account with only his one mouth, and body to care for, and a married person presumably with children too has to keep half of that amount with a family to care for

    Now they're concentrating on the Beach, (it looks good for the Tourists), the kids have now moved to East Pattaya (Soi Kow Noi in particular), fighting, and throwing petrol bombs at each other

    A Thai girlfriend many years ago told me she had been raped when she was a teenager (19), I asked did you report it to the police, she replied no, because Thai people know that the police will never believe a woman, or they are too lazy to do the paper work necessary

    Why on the re entry permit application form does it ask for your departure, and "about" return dates ?

    On my re entry application for that i submitted yesterday it asks date of departure, expected date of return to Thailand, so that should give them so indication of your travel plans

    Their fault if you're out of the country when they call, they should check before they come, to see if u applied for a re entry visa...
