Did anyone really think Leicester were not going to be a 'Flash in the Pan'

yes they stunned the soccer world last season and  all credit to them but was a knocking bet they would be struggling this year...

They have made a mistake getting rid of Ranieri, he was a good manager but you only have to see who controls this club that normal logic will be sadly lacking lol

Agreed, most people were expecting them to be mid table this season but I think the publicity and money has gone to some players heads and they lost focus. at least they have done it once,

There are about 7/800k Welsh speakers, which is stated as around 20/21% of the population (Source: Wiki). How many of those would claim Welsh as a first language? How many would claim Welsh as the only language?

Just wait to Leader Sturgeon finds out - be demands for Gaelic to be allowed even though it's use is far less than Welsh. Be all pepped up as if all Scots speak it. Then someone in Cornwall will start. Personally, I think the Geordies should be given foreign language status - can't understand a word they say!

The language in Cornwall is 'Welsh', same as in Bretagne France. Not exactly the same  but not far away.

Surely that is the cost of protecting the welsh cultural heritage? Should we all adopt estuary English and consign our heritage to the history books?

Are you Welsh?. I could speak Welsh in primary school ( so simple Welsh). I live in Thailand and I'm very sure I could learn to speak Welsh again over the internet because it's not a modern language. It's not like Gaelic which is forced to survive it doesn't need the help it has at a high cost to survive. I think the cost of bi-lingualism  is too high when old people can't heat their homes and the Welsh assembly in Cardiff is a huge cost, just talk to the taxi drivers at Cardiff airport and what the am's thinks of themselves. When I lived in the UK I voted against devolution, we've just had another layer of government wasting money on expenses etc and saying do you know who I am?. The other thing and still for my friends in Wales is the 'elitism' that the Welsh speakers think they have. The powerhouse of Wales is between Swansea and Newport so mostly an English speaking area. I'm very proud of the culture but I won't defend it over peoples lives, I'm a fan of Carl Sagan who said think locally, your town, and think globally, your planet.

  4. I'm Welsh and think this is stupid. The amount of money that is wasted in Wales by forcing everything to be bi-lingual is incredible. Approaching road junctions with multiple choices like a motorway junction is hard enough being Welsh and understanding abbreviations painted on the road let alone how bad it is for the rest of the UK and foreigners. Wales has the most expensive tv channel in the world S4C per population who understand Welsh so it creates legalised corruption  for the production companies. There are people who claim Welsh is their first language but I seriously doubt that in this day and age that there is anyone left who can't speak English as well.

No one is forcing you to buy their products but if you want people to think you are using Apple stuff or Beats headphones then you should buy the real thing.

Same goes for all products whether handbags, shoes, clothes etc etc

If you can't afford to buy the real thing don't expect to walk around wearing or using the brand.

If you were a business man you'd also understand why those original products cost $300 (actually Beats by Dre are $200), you'd understand why an LV handbag costs what it costs.

But I doubt you understand the value of a brand, the cost of manufacturing, advertising and the reason why brands hate copyright infringement.

You might if you had invented or designed something and were being ripped off.

There are plenty of generic brands of every product under the sun, wear that and use those if you can't afford to own the top brands.

The problem is that most people want to look like they are rich, despite all the people on here who claim that rich people are bad, the average person anywhere in the world really wants to be rich, to look rich and to act rich.

The luxury brands have in a way been too successful in their attempt to become desired.....   people desire the products but can't afford them, so they buy fakes.

Beats by Dre have had the components valued at less than $50 dollars so it's an image thing. I use Shure which have had good ratings for audio not style.

I live in Rayong and most of the knock off goods seem to come from Rong Kluea market, Aranyaprathet in Sa Kaeow for the market and tourist shop traders. It's a big market and does anyone know if it ever gets raided for copyright/forgeries fraud?.

It was a 10 month old Fortuner. The impact ripped the entire side of the vehicle and roof off. I took some pictures of the truck's tyres. Its clear that the owner didnt give a c**p. She didn't even offer any apology. The truck was belting it and he lost control and came over the median straight into the Fortuner and because of this d**khead I have 1 dead driver and a father has lost his daughter and wife. I really hope justice will be served...but we all know how things go here.

The owner & driver should be jailed. I feel for you, how can you run a reliable safe business for tourists when things like this happen?. I personally use the same taxi driver I have been using for years to take me back & fore Bangkok Airport from Rayong, we use the same guy for our customers but as you have found it means nothing when you have morons driving and running businesses. I hate driving here and stay in our locality, which can be dangerous enough, as much as possible.

  7. I see so many elderly couples riding scooters where I live and most of them are a hazard to themselves and other road users. They would be a hazard in their own countries without the additional risks of bus, mini buses & delivery pickups etc in a hurry to get to their destinations.  I understand the need to hire scooters as there are limited transportation options locally but I do wonder if it is worth the risk for them.

Interesting. Do you get all the Sky Sports and Fox Sports and Bein Sports channels on it?

Sent from my LG-H990 using Thaivisa Connect mobile app

If you install Mobdro you will get all the channels and some of the apps for Kodi can be set up to receive the sports. It comes with Kodi pre installed but it's set up for Thai tv users but I will say it's a simple front end, I just put Mobdro & Kodi in the favourites folder and select that as I use my laptop for browsing. It comes complete with HDMI & A/V cables so it can be connected to older TV's as well.

  9. Big C Rayong is currently selling Z Stream amlogic S905 quad core 64bit  4K android boxes for 2,300baht at the moment. I've already bought 4 and it comes with a really good air mouse, in fact better than the one with my Samsung tv. It does come in Thai but very easy to change to English and same as all boxes without fans it runs a little bit hot. It runs  android 5.1.

There is research that shows that the spectrum or Florescent lights is harmful to human health.

    Google it.

Did you know that Apple added a night view feature to change the spectrum so that you should sleep more easily than if you were looking at the regular, (bluish) light?

I remember seeing a union bulletin in the UK in the 80's which suggested statistically that one person a year died from contracting cancer due to fluorescent lighting. I also find they cause eyestrain when there's a ceiling full of them like in the supermarkets.

LEDs have a different spectrum to incandescent of fluorescent lighting, almost no UV. Theoretically they should attract fewer of the night-flying beasties, I've certainly noticed fewer dead bugs in our LED fixtures compared to the fluorescent tubed ones of the same design.

They still attract enough to keep the geckos busy mind.

Agreed, it seems that insects see the blue end of the spectrum and if you see some wild life films where they shift the uv into the visible spectrum some plants have what look like landing lights guiding bees & butterflies into the flower.

The big diy stores are selling yellow low energy saving lamps which don't attract insects, the advertising on the packet says it repels them but I think it because they can't see that colour light. I was staying in a work camp in Western Australia and the bar area seating had yellow lights and almost no insects and just outside the floodlights were covered in insects.

  12. We've had our 1.6s fiesta for nearly 4 years and the gearbox has had no trouble. I seem to recall reading somewhere that part of the problem was due to people not giving enough accelerator when pulling away. The warranty was extended fro 1 year to 5 years then later to 10 years, I really like the car and would recommend it to anyone especially with the ncap 5 safety. My wife got rear ended on highway 36 yesterday after an IRPC pickup driver ploughed into the back of stationary traffic because of tree cutting in the middle of the highway, she was at the front and the pickup played billiards with 3 cars and the fiesta came out of it best, our car is not written off and going by the pictures I think all the other vehicles will be written off.
