So to fly Thai Air to Seattle.

Land either at Vancouver, British Columbia or California (L.A. not sure if San Fran ever opened doors to them or not)

Crew was caught smuggling contraband (which included Drugs) into USA. Banned from ever landing at Seattle/Tacoma Int. Again. This came about from months of surveillances. Crew was taken into custody, finally released to Thai/US Consultant and demanded they exit U.S. asap. Not sure who was paid or the amount... But crew to this day is Banned from entering US Airspace. It took months to get Jet released, US crew (Military) flew it back to Thailand, Thailand had to pay wages and costs involved with return.

Recently took a flight with Thai with an 18 month old child. When I asked for a safety belt for the child they told me that child restraints were not safe and that I should just hold the child tight in the event of an emergency !!!

Safe to say I have already booked with BA for the next flight. Even if they do have a shiny new A380 on the route, if I can't safely belt my kids in then they can keep it.

Referring to Thai Air....

Does anyone remember why Thai Air was kicked out of Seattle Tacoma International Airport ??? (I know the answer... just want to see if they will admit.) Following that Ruling they lost for a time the rights to enter U.S.A.'s air space. Later they were granted minimal landing sites. But never regained the privilege to land in Washington State.

I was under the belief that Child seatbelt adapters were mandatory. When child is over a certain age, even weights are given as when to be applied when they are assigned a seat. Only when child is an infant example: 3 months,17kg are they allowed to be held. Some Airlines will rebook families to other flight schedules where safety restraints are available, to comply with this ruling.

In doing so have update so many items the bikes are now rebuilt safer then they were in their original form. Sometimes is necessary to change frame or rebuild and in doing so they loose the option of their Green Book. Make Special Book with option to use affidavids and receipts to prove ownership of Bike... Example: Purple Book/Purple Operator License/Purple License Plate and Tag. License does not let rider operate other Bikes or Vehicles. Bikes would still need Insurance and Inspections and the wearing of Helmets. Because these would also be driven by A responsible age Group, they would also be able to use Supers if over 100cc. Actions against them By other Motor vehicles would result in Higher fines if they caused damage to Bikes. Sometimes to restore the cost goes up 3-4 times even higher from the original Purchase Price... Because of Custom work need to restore to Original Form (for a Collector).

This would be a great option when licensing... It would insure Recycling of parts, Give further income and employment to Bike Shops on all levels... Parts, Build, Service, etc... Lower income families would be able to keep a GOOD working Bike in family, when cannot afford new. Owners would have higher fine if Safety (Lights, Turn Indicators, Horn) was observed not working... Age limit to use or get Antique Bike License start at 25 years for Operator. Because these are Jewels (Special) They will be taken care of closer then the Standard Bikes or the road, to qualify Bike would need to be 35 years or older.

The canal will also be very restricted on the number of ships going through at once (much more than the straights - which they say are congested).

This would be a Great Idea.... compared to digging a Canal. 2 new Ports, one on each side... with dual Train Rails, so there is always one going and one coming... No need to wait for track to clear. Multiple trains could be outbound from either Port at same time. If Rail direction is always same, safety of no possible collisions. Have new employment for southern residents in both Rail Unit, Port Unit, Loading Trains also unloading. This would move people from populated areas to settle here. Residential Building projects would benefit from the construction of new homes... Train yards for parking of multiple trains at each port with support personnel. Bangkok by rail to either Port. Also could link Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam by rail to either Port. Malaysia could build rail to Western Port. I have not touched on the Military Implications that would Benefit from this if it was a multiple rail project and Rail Hub...

No Bashing just a good Honest Concern that if opportunity arose here like this... As other countries in the world citizens have learned how to play the System... Thai are no different. If setup with a set of ideas and not just monitored... But worked They would possibly see the Phrase "Or they are Thai... Thai would never do things as this" is a misconstrued concept. From visiting other countries they have learned how to evade the system (as done in America...) "How many visitors to other Countries are there with expired Passports... Could you please detail what "Welfare Benefits" you are referring to.

Think about it... Reduced Medical... Dental... Government Housing at reduce cost... They have same problem as western and European Countries, and would need to learn how to handle them. The state of the bear was indeed pitiful.

However, perhaps the condemnation of the temple is out of place.

Thai people dump their unwanted pets at temples, knowing that the monks and helpers will do their best to help them.

Ditto wild animals found injured or their babies abandoned.

The temples simply don't have the expertise or the money to look after these animals, but they usually try their best in difficult circumstances.

If Thailand had a proper organisations dedicated to animal welfare such as the RSPCA in the UK then the temples wouldn't have to bear this unwanted burden.

What a load of crap, It does not matter how they acquired this animal they kept it so they should have at least saw that it got food ( Sun Bears are omnivorous so I am sure they could have found something in the food they beg to feed it} and enough sunlight to keep it alive. Does not take a lot of expertise to know it like all animals has basic needs. If they could not figure this out I am sure they could have found someplace to take this poor animal to like the organization that found the poor thing or a zoo. I doubt they even tried. These monks sure did not do their best to help this poor creature in fact they did DAMN little, it makes me lose respect for the buddist religion. And you piss me off for trying to make excuses for them, there is no excuse for the way this poor creature was neglected it is criminal.

How do you think they would have coped if somebody had dumped a Sun Bear in their parochial house? Do you think they'd really have known how to care for it? Feed it? Mrs. Doyle's tea, cake and sandwiches probably wouldn't have met its dietary requirements.

Your anger at the religious institution is misdirected. Your anger would better be directed either at the people who dumped the animal there, or wider Thai society for not providing proper refuges for animals in need.

Malaysia and Thailand have seen the Object in question on their Radar screens, Both have offered answers. Even though they were seen to be reluctant to do so in any extent. Why has no one questioned (1) Indonesia (2) Singapore??

(1) Flight MH370 was in Indonesian Air Space when she supposedly did her 180 degree turn.

Indonesia has never confirmed Malaysia Flight MH370 did in fact turn to west. Or why they never requested clearance to enter Air Space... It is a Known, but Silent Fact that Singapore is Home Headquarters the U.S.'s C.I.A. Office in S.E. Asia, as it was located there after being rejected from previous Sites/Countries. Does this have a connection somehow? Re-Examine this Point extensively...

(2) After crossing over Malaysia again in her supposedly flight to the Indian Ocean she was for an Extended period in Singapore's Air Space.

It is well known that Aircraft have been rejected after requesting clearance to enter Singapore's Air Space. Yet the let an Unidentified Object to enter? fly through without any concern? Without any Intervention? This needs to be addressed ASAP! (Note: Does this silence here reconstruct a conclusion that it never was in Singapore's Air Space? If this answer is correct then Malaysia's flight MH370 did not fly south as every one has suggested.

Then, if the fight path was not South... What other countries have been Mysteriously silent??

What I have suggested is same as we did in 1967 and 1968 from Thailand. We had 2 aircraft confirmed down. Had beacon reading coralating a point in Gulf of Thailand. Yet when search and rescue where at point of so called radio signal... There was nothing! Period... Nothing to show us anything that an F100D in both cases had impacked the water. The first time it happened we took a long time to figure out an answer. But Senior Airmen in both Ground Control and Radio Opts drew a graph, imbedded it on a Map of the entire area. Starting with a Horizontal line of first and last signature of aircafts last know position and where beacon signal was showing us on our Monitors. We measured distance from both to Ground stations east and west of signal and drew an arc. Also lined up beacon location and last know radar signature. Knowing we were possibly dealing with both North and South Magnetic fields, possibly reversed our reception, took a chance and went north of where last signature was.... We had Pilot on Tarmak within the hour! Don't know why or how... but it happened!

The second time we sent choppers to both areas! Same result! Aircraft was located North of actual beacon reading on Monitor. This time Pioplot was returned to Base within 1 hr and 55 minutes after being shot down, but this time pilot was injured, not life threating.

This is all I can disclose as actual physical proof is in Tac Squadrons (27th fighter wings) sealed records. I can tell you personally what happened... I was there! This is the best proof I can submit, this is the only answer I have provided you with so whatever in previous Email you are referring to... your wrong! Wasn't me!

This is why I suggested using same data and look North, we have both arc's but at the moment there seems to be an air of.... Either scared to or a Mindset that it cannot be! Then just as Malaysian Military monitored the flight making U-Turn and its flight Back Across the Malaysian peninsula... Why has there been no comment from Singapore or Indonesian Military... Remember this was an unknown object entering their Airspace...

MH370 was monitored by Malaysian Military Radar after it officially went silent to other sources. So it was 100% Detectable here (If it was indeed on this path...) Same with Thailand, was first an object being Monitored reported then dismissed. There has been complete silence by all Military involved in War Games in Thailand that were being conducted at this very time. Ships, Air Bases and Aircraft would have 100% Visibility at this time. Why the Silence?

For one, I believe Aircraft was never in Singapore's or Indonesian Air Space, or if contacted... no answer it would have been shot down. It was referenced in Thai Air Space... Then Hushed up, only reported when firmly questioned. By that time it would have exited and continued its flight. North...

Some are beginning to see another search area. I never discounted the Satellite info and search area... but with personal history believe there was a 2nd area we should have been searching. We had a couple of fighters downed over Laos in mid 60's Beacons showed they were in Gulf of Thailand, about 40 M from coast. We dispatched ships and assorted aircraft to locate and confirm... never did find any thing at beacon location. I suggested that we rethink radio receiver and signals. drawing a horizontal grid we went same distance (in an Arc) north of center mark Grid.... 6 hrs. we had in both pilots on the Tarmac! If we had sent Teams to both locations, they would not have spent 2 days in Hostile environment! For some reason signal was transposed (Mirrored) magnetically between North and South magnetic fields.

First of all Martial Law was was instilled by the Military... Not the Police! Police did their job correctly. When own made a scene and complained for everyone that she was being Harassed by the Police. They proved a Point! They were enforcing the Law... Remember in past years.... When we were subject to flooding? But it has paid off for thousands of Americans since...)

I set it up with Main Branch in Bangkok. My SSA and retirement funds are deposited there monthly. They are actually deposited at the Branch in NYC with a 200 Baht fee. Deposit shows up here as soon as completed deposit is logged in NYC... No Waiting! Shows up here instantly.

A personal Issue? I have none with any of the above, As I would have probably asked for them to be implemented any way ONLY issue I have ever had has been with SSA, being this is designated as a foreign deposit I am required to report to SSA with a form they mail me each year. It takes 18-20 days to get here even with International Priority Airmail Service, So if they do not receive ASAP they will cancel. But it can be fixed with contacting the SSA Office in the Philippines with email and including an attached copy of form (2 pages) It has been reinstated and deposit is seen within 5 days. This only affects my SSA Deposit.

This could be fixed with a Foreign account link on SSA website. Since we cannot access any Personal SSA data Out Side the USA, they need to setup a separate logon where we could complete this task Online (Password Protected). Would save paperwork and funds, lower Manpower needed to complete task each year.

(I added this last portion as a Nudge to them, If there is enough requests World Wide... Maybe we will see this step installed Since we are in a Country that does not have a SSA Officer stationed at US Embassy. They do read these links that are related)

Maybe in this case he is a grub Razz, i know there are many bad farang here and if you live by he sword, you deserve to die by it... this place is a haven for bad farang trying to escape the law in their own country for doing wrong, thats why thailand and its Authorities are so f* ed up by the baht and the bribes, they let them in here, so they are to blame for doing this which doesnt make it right for us farang trying to make a living and do the right thing by the law of this land... what i am saying is this, it doesnt just happen to people who deserve it, it happens to normal, good farang as well, who buck the corrupt and racist, unjust system that is Thailands cancer and i never believe anything i read or hear unless it is undeniably proven without a doubt... because through experience, many thais will BS through their back teeth about anything because they dont know common ethical values that we do, from the person selling u a watch on the beach, to the BIB, to the Government, this is a proven fact, you read about it everyday, you live it everyday if you live here, this is the Thai way.
