  1. Recklessly? So you have seen the video? Go back under your bridge!
  2. K, you have quoted the pension life certificate requirements; this is different - a certificate of identity usually requires something stronger......I may be wrong.
  3. I doubt that yours was a certificate of identity. Probably a pension life certificate.
  4. Are sandals, T-shirts and shorts typical of someone who drives a motorbike than can comfortably do 132 kph? I am guessing that the OP was better prepared than that for his journey.
  5. Here we go. The holier than thou brigade are swiftly out of the blocks. The OP exceeded the speed limit (possibly by 10% if it was the AH1, if the limit was 90 kph on the AH1 then it is ridiculously low limit) and paid his dues. Not sure why you think driving a motorbike at 82 mph is "endangering the lives of people living in Thailand"
  6. Because they did what they said on the tin - and at a reasonable price. I wanted travel cover, I got it I am quite happy never to have had to make a claim.
  7. No. Fortunately, in 12 instances I have not needed to.
  8. I use MSIG. https://www.msig-thai.com/en/personal-insurance/travel-easy-worldwide
  9. There is no prostitution in Thailand. Guilty on all other counts. Learn one thing - don't drive that vehicle again until you have your DL at the end of March.
  10. You should be asking @gascookerthat question.
  11. I seem to recall that mine was OK. But then again I am not using it now so maybe it wasn't. My VIVO 1933 is as good as any phone that I have had in the last 10 years.
  12. Thanks. Could you please point me in the right direction.
  13. Wind your neck in tiger. Were you aware that the insurance is invalidated if you don't have a license? You can think about becoming a smart ar5e when you have the knowledge. Amen!
  14. Handy. So no license and no insurance.
  15. Didn't work for the UK Lottery.
  16. Did you have a specific example of " farangs that made use of such 'agency service' being extradited from Thailand with a 5 to 10 year entry-ban?"...I mean a real example. You don't need to maintain 800k permanently in a Thai bank account. Two months prior to application and 3 months after, then it can drop to 400k.
  17. You are going to the wrong dentists.
  18. .....or it could be an attempt at humour? If so, he should add a smiley emoticon because it clearly went WAY over your head!
  19. £100-a-night would get her a Travelodge in London.
  20. I still think that it is 30 days. It is good to know that with an upcoming flight they might permit earlier application.
  21. Please let me know if they do 45 days for you as it would help me - rather than the 30 days they told me.
  22. That is not what they told me..... they stipulated 30 days when I asked what is the earliest date that I could apply.
