    K, you have quoted the pension life certificate requirements; this is different - a certificate of identity usually requires something stronger......I may be wrong.

The OP exceeded the speed limit (possibly by 10% if it was the AH1, if the limit was 90 kph on the AH1 then it is ridiculously low limit) and paid his dues. Not sure why you think driving a motorbike at 82 mph is "endangering the lives of people living in Thailand"

    Because they did what they said on the tin - and at a reasonable price. I wanted travel cover, I got it I am quite happy never to have had to make a claim.

    Did you have a specific example of " farangs that made use of such 'agency service' being extradited from Thailand with a 5 to 10 year entry-ban?"...I mean a real example. You don't need to maintain 800k permanently in a Thai bank account. Two months prior to application and 3 months after, then it can drop to 400k.
