    6 weeks, you should be so lucky. 11 weeks is the minimum advised time.......recently it has been shorter.

    What date was his credit card debited with the payment? Any more than 11 weeks send an email to ask about progress. Worst time of year possible for doing that, of course. Then try this:- HM Passport Office [email protected]

    They obviously don't (unless she is the only way you can confirm your address)......but they do like their comfort blanket. Quite typical of a rural Immigration office - and I have experienced the same. Jomtien - which is more of a processing factory - routinely deals daily with scores of single male applicants.

    I think 11/12 weeks is the stock answer but 2 friends got theirs back in 5 weeks. Another friend submitted on 6th December but his has been delayed because his passport photos were 'damaged in transit'...... that's a new one.

    I am going to Thailand to visit Buriram for a while....... said nobody - ever. I went to Buriram (for 12 years) enjoyed it; but I only went there because my partner lived there. When I discovered Bang Saray I didn't live in Buriram anymore.

    I presume that you had been drinking again. You were totally out of order - you didn't know the couple, didn't know for sure they were Russians - yet you judged them them on your prejudices. You can't blame one couple for the actions of their government. You certainly cannot opine on their visit to Thailand. You have made a tw4t of yourself again -- knock the booze on the head until you can handle it.
