As I wrote elsewhere, I do my immigration things in BKK again. My hope is sometime they will get it right in CNX with the new office, but I doubt it, people will remain the same.

I don't support the corrupt immigration in Chiang Mai.

It's not so much about the agents and the convenience to use them. Up to you. It's more that Chiang Mai immigration has become one of the worst in the whole country. 80 years old people need to queue at 3 in the night to get a number to queue again for someone playing Candy Crush on their phones. Shame.

I tried that before here, not much success. But there is hope. I'm planning to buy a spot of land and get a castle built there, or at least a bungalow with some cool radio stuff inside. I have a tower sitting here, and a Force 12 Yagi. Some radios as well, and what is needed is just a bit of a kick in the ass. 

If you don't know what this is all about, don't bother, if you know give me a ring :). This could be fun.

Fair points, I know that Udo thinks about a second location. They do also catering. It's probably a kind of a crossroad now, go bigger or stay as we all know it. Quality is still fantastic, to get a table may perhaps be a bit challenging, but the old rule still stands, avoid empty restaurants.

I got one from Aliexpress, 16GB/2GB, less than 40$. Came with Kodi and god knows what streams loaded. Android 6. Never looked back.

Madame does not want to change the address again, it was a bit troublesome with the income tax last time to transfer the paperwork or whatever they do to CNX.

Will try it in BKK in June again, last 2x was from CNX, but that's getting worse and worse and worse....

That's a little bit tricky construct, perhaps we can puzzle it out.

I'm on Non-Immi O marriage extension, due again in June. I recently changed my registered address back to Bangkok (TM28+TM30) where I own a condo, as I can't be bothered with the Kindergarten in Chiang Mai anymore.

Wife is registered in our house in Chiang Mai as per blue housebook. As it does not matter for Thais where they are registered, as long as they are registered somewhere, the question comes up, where do I have to go for my next extension.

Again, based on marriage, I'm now registered on my condo address in BKK, my wife is registered in CNX. I'd prefer to handle everything immigration in BKK. Is there any correlation/requirement for the address of madame, do we have to go to Chiang Mai immigration or can we juct go to Chaeng Wattana?

Ok, probably an overpass, or what would they do with the water. But I guess the main traffic will go into the 121, coming from south. Chiang Mai has definitly money for road projects, hope they do it right and it does not become a never ending repair story.

Just drove by, the old immigration is completely gone, the renovated bungalow still stands however.
