My mistake
...

Not necessarily, they already issue work permits for 3 years. It's only a logical step to do this for visas for long term residents as well. It is certainly driven by the need for more efficient processes rather than more administrative effort like different requirements for deposits. But if it happens, who knows. That guy in Dubai could have made it possible as he did for the general population...

Meaning they start to see the stupidity in that whole thing, falling back to playing on their smartphones :),

There were a number of these incidents in the last weeks, I know of Koolpunt 8 and Home in Park. They went for empty houses in the night time. Perhaps not the same, but better be careful. The dogs like some entertainment too....
-
That was the topic the tourism minister started last week after the "long term resident" meeting in Chiang Mai, where the head of immigration was the only key figure not to attend. So go figure.

Here is the information from Immi BKK after applying for online registration. They refuse personal accounts and limit it to hotels with guests turn over every day. However there's a mail-in address. That is for BKK, not CNX.

Weather is getting cooler and I intend to get my ER6 on the road again. Been at the DLT today and wanted to pay overdue tax together with the car, but as it is 5 y/o now it needs inspection.
Any recommended place near Mae Hia, Nong Khwai, Canal Rd? If possible without the hassle to change the exhaust back to the original one. What's the cost to expect?

I very much doubt that they will miss you. It's a happy place and miserable people never like happy places.
Perhaps, who gives a sh*t. I said it was ok, not extraordinary, then you come and tell me I'm a miserable people because I said they put no tomato on the pizza :).
Happy people, enjoy. No harm done :)
-
So now they tell you to go to BKK? 555....amazing Thailand

The October beer was ok, too expensive anyway. Pizza sucks, they don't put tomato sauce on it. The owner throws perhaps a round of free drinks, it's nice. Overall I don't think it will survive. Thais don't go there and for me it was a one time and skip.

I installed the extension but no change . When I click on it , the icon change color but not the page.
It was just to collect your IP address :)

Where do you get the channels from?

If you go to toilet early, it's not a problem. Or drink a beer less :)
-
If you drive a diesel, oil is oil. Shell V power is a scam. Simple as that.
-
You need to prove ownership. If they do it without, the bike may be somewhere else tomorrow. So up to you as they say :)
-
Easy to calculate, don't make a 90 days, they charge you 2000B, make one they charge you 1600B. 400B less.
Skip it for 3 times till next extension it adds up to 2000B minus 4800B, so you save 2800B.
Simple.

Just to confirm i got the TM30/28 penalty...1600 Baht.
6 weeks over their 'by the book' reporting window.
IIRC that Police General who was interviewed by Chiang Mai City Life after the questionnaire, said they get only 20% of the penalties charged kicked back from Bangkok. For each 1600B that makes 320B. So stop complaining and pay up. Someone has to run the country :)

I will next time. Does not matter, we have a house here and there. I'm just not getting sucked in that BS they try to play locally.
-
Just do it as I do, ignore the rubbish, and if you have to deal with immigration in person, do it in BKK.
-
It's ok mate, and appreciated. Knowledge helps to educate the agency runners....or so :D. And the rest of us.
-
You try to play by "their rules", you get fined. You just ignore the whole rubbish, and you will be fine. TiT.

Your wife has to do it, or whoever gave you that legal right, they never heard of :)

I'd call this freestyle. It's just completely out of control. Hopefully someone from BKK puts a brake on it, but they probably do not care.

I do however believe that the Thai member of the household takes precedence as house master, I may be wrong.
Right, I may try one of my dogs next time :). They have laws and they do not follow them. Simple.
