When I first moved to LOS years ago, DVDs from the States played on Thai DVD players no problem. In the States now, and wanting to bring back DVDs. Has anything changed? Will they still work?

I have brought, over the years, three dogs into Thailand. Never has the vet at the airport checked for microchips. Yet I see on the government website that chips are required. Anyone in the last year who has brought in a dog, was it checked for a microchip?

Yep, remember the name. My 110 pound manly rotty was terrified of thunder and while I was away, poor Nienke had to sit in the run with him and hug him. Good lady. I'm flying back in next month and actually will be living south, but hope she might have a reference of someone I could use. Won't put my new pup through the torture of "vet boarding" where they stay in a cage the entire time. Thanks!

There used to be a nice farang lady just outside CM, maybe ten years ago, who boarded dogs and took wonderful care of them. Anybody have her contact info?

Left LOS in May for the States on a round-trip ticket. Have a return ticket from LAX to BKK in September. Have a current retirement extension valid through next March. Have a re-entry permit. Based on that, will I get in? Or do I need a forwarding flight?
