  1. Have a used Samsung s8+ Edge for sale Much higher spec than a new low quality phone. Let me know if intested 4000 baht.
  2. What with 300 baht? If you have a tracking number you will see where it is.
  3. I used to stick the photos on but after them saying it's wrong and tutting I now give them about 15 photos and they pick 4 of them. I have used the same photos for the last 3 years now. Might have to update them soon . As for the number of the house I got stick on numbers for the letter box from the 20 baht shop years ago.
  4. I have done the 134m Nevis bungee in NZ Not sure if the cable car to the middle of the canyon was any less scary than the jump. When you are still dangling you have to reach up and pull a lever which gets you upright then you get lifted back up which is probably the worst part. Imagine doing that in Thailand. So many things could go wrong and probably would.
  5. Well this post didn't go as planned.
  6. People saying not to difficult for a western man to get another girl. Problem is if your down on money it's not going to be easy.
  7. Did anyone see the electric car that had an accident and costs 800,000+ for replacement batteries.
  8. Must admit the thai driver must have jumped so much after hearing the scream when he was just resting his eyes. Probably shouldn't have been driving the minibus though
  9. Such as? Not many if any at all that are as cheap as Thai Post.
  10. The 300 baht fee most people would not even know about until arrival. Just another little surprise to start the holiday.
  11. I am guessing a ladyboy took his fake Rolex watch and he thought hang on a minute this might work well for me.
  12. Yes i am sure the Thunder has great results in certain locations with yours being exceptional. Still even for us its very cheap internet for a year . I am sure on our holidays we will get a much faster connection which is the main reason we buy a 1 year sim and going away for a vacation and having both Ais and the mighty Thunder will give us a good chance that one will work well. Thanks for your time with this you have put in a lot of work . I see you can test your signal . Have you got a link for this so i can check? I see you had a
  13. Some speedtests like Ookla and TOT seem to give much higher readings. We are still getting much faster Internet with the Ais marathon sim 1 year package. Good to see the NT thunder sim works well in your location but it's very hit and miss for us with frquent disconnecting. We have not seen over around 15mbps. Not used it now for a few days but it will be a good back up if needed.
  14. At least knock on his door and see if he wants to share.
  15. Well I would put 2500baht In a safe and the other 2500baht probably your right under the bed.
  16. Have you not seen how much some taxi drivers can squeeze out of tourists?
  17. It seems the banks are not going to compensate for many of these cases. With the shi7e interest rates probably better to keep it in the house. At least its safer at the moment.
  18. I remember many years ago a group of us went to one of the Spanish islands . We went to rent mopeds and had to show we could ride up the road and back without falling off before we could rent the bikes. (Turns out the owner of the shop just had one drunk lad go off the end of the pier on one of his mopeds) We passed that easily enough and all thought that was so easy but Thailand is way more relaxed just leave your id and off you go.
  19. "No I am a lady its just my time of the month" You can do me in the doot though.!
  20. I mentioned it once. But I think I got away with it.
  21. I was looking at changing from TOT (NT) 590 baht a month 1000/500 To Ais Fibre but packages seem almost the same and speeds from my current Fibre connection to pc are more than fast enough . For the home I would never be able to give up the fibre connection as it keeps 4 of us with extremely quick Internet.
  22. Just an update we have also got a 100gb net marathon sim from Ais and while in Hua Hin staying in a hotel in the centre we were getting much better speeds from the Ais than the Thunder(555) NT sim . Saying that even at home in Bangkok the Ais was quicker every time we tested was around 13mbps-24mbps The NT sim was lucky to get 3mbps in Hua hin and since going back to Bangkok it has dropped to 4-5 mbps The Ais is limited to 100gb a month which is more than enough but the NT is unlimited but so slow that we probably would not use it much. These are fine for travelling and cheap for 1 year but nothing replaces a quick fibre like TOT at 600 baht 1000/500mbps a month which . Tempted to move to Ais fibre but not sure it would make any difference .
