    Hi everyone as the title says basically want a 4-5 day break along the coast Had so many times staying at Cha-am for Christmas which i have always liked more than staying in Hua-hin Love Ban Krut but fancy somewhere different with beach bungalows if possible or at least right next to the beach like Cha-am Thanks in advance

    I often see people on fb with problems with ranger gearbox and transmissions. Maybe the new ones are sorted but still really do not want to risk it I will wait for a couple of years.

    You forget this is Thailand. Do not underestimate the mighty baht! Even when everything points to the baht weakening beyond your wildest dreams, some sort of voodoo happens and the baht rises again.

    I am so tempted to but a new Ford Raptor or maybe Wildtrak but i also have this little niggle in the back of my head and i am sure if the gearbox were to sh7t itself i already would be thinking why i had not gone with my instinct.

    If the Toyota get a v6 diesel then I will be getting that for sure but at the moment the Ford is looking the best. I see they have a wildtrak and a raptor for test drives at our local Ford but I tend to avoid test drives as I find myself sat in the chair signing for purchase far to easy.

    Yes that's what I am hoping and looking at the reviews it seems like the perfect model. Saying that I would like the v6 petrol raptor but not sure if I would like filling it up as much

    I am so tempted but it's a shame they do not do the V6 diesel . If they did I would possibly take the risk of once again owning the blue oval. I have had so many years of taking for granted how the trusty Toyota''s have just done what they are meant to and never broke down that I am willing to give the Ford a go again.

    Yes totally agree . Worst that would have happened he might of got the munchies and eaten everything in the fridge and have a ridiculous smile on his face.

    Very expensive also. Stick with Thailand Post they are by far the cheapest .

    Its not about finding one its more about finding a good one that will not buffer. Vpn is probably the way to go and watch via bbc/itv
