You answered your own question. I agree Central Festival has really no soul, but considering that most people walk around looking into their phones it probably doesn't matter to them. Apt Plaza on the contrary I like, always new things popping up in the basement and in the annex, lots of shops, good food courts, decent parking for m/bikes, the Baan&Beyond complex nearby, and above all a nice middle-income crowd that doesn't go to the mall just to show off their fashion or hairdo.

Shame really, for those who were around 10+ years ago KSK was "the" shopping mall along with Airport Plaza, conveniently located. However, not only the newer malls and especially Maya proved a tough competition, but also it made some idiotic moves of its own. I remember dearly the food court of ten years ago in front of TOPS with free live music in the evening, but with the Chinese wave they converted it to something very fake where I never found anything that appealed to me. At the same time, parking started to be difficult, the main entrance once covered with small food/clothes stands became the domain of aggressive red buses, and there were no new investments. Venturing above the 3rd floor in the back of the building felt like visiting an archeological site, the bathrooms started to show their age. The traffic along Huay Kaew and the invasion of food delivery m/bikes taking every parking spot for scooters did the rest. I stopped going there even before Covid. KSK had become a place to get depression, not distraction. Does anyone know what will happen to the BKB branch there?

TM47 is not new, on the contrary it's the standard form for 90d report. In CM at Promenada, at least the many times I did it during Covid, they only wanted name, signature, phone number.

I have the same experience for one of my medicines, and then again for other medicines it can be different. There is no fixed rule that a medicine will cost more or less at a hospital or from a pharmacy, and costs change wildly (factor of 2) from one hospital to another. No, first it's 2ppl+ pet return, second 800 is "normal" only in your imagination. I searched a date at random in July, o/w cheapest is 1700B plus whatever. I think a lot of people who love their pet would use this, it turns out to be a "normal" price for 3 seats r/t. Then of course I would feel embarassed to fly in a plane painted like a duck.

First, RIP to the poor lady. I have freedived a lot in my days, and I have seen my share of ugly accidents. So sad. About your judgement on the "boat people", I beg to differ. Once she is in the water with an instructor, it's his/her responsibility to check all equipment. btw, in variable weight - which apparently is what she was doing - you normally hold a weight tied to a rope, when you reach the prefixed depth you let go and swim back up. So it the rope "snapped" as the article implies, it would have been so easy to let go and abort. Perhaps she got entangled in the snapped rope? Perhaps the descent was too quick and she passed out and could not react? More importantly, if it is true that they were diving with just 20m sea floor, it would have been very easy for the instructor (assuming he/she was properly qualified) to dive down and take her back even if unconscious. It's part of a freediving instructor course to do that up to 40m. Of course, I say this without having been there. Since they mention a current, perhaps the instructor did try to reach her and could not find her due to poor visibility.
