From many countries 48h PCR is not doable. If you live in small towns test capacity is limited and return of results takes too long. Tests at airports cost a small fortune if you want express processing. Munich airport 239 €.

Tried to book 1 day "Test&Go". Was asked to send details. Landmark Hotel never came back. Any other hotel recommendation? Approx. similar to Landmark

Got hold of the consul of our Hon. Thai consulate. No problem to fly from another country of the 46 countries IF you come from another country on this list. I can fly from "next door".

Learnt today that all TG flights to/from Germany have been moved from Nov. to start January. Travel agent told me that Thai never reimbursed unused flight tix. Beware.

No travel insurance pays if Thailand is your residence. Just bought one in Austria and I was explicitly asked about where my "home" is.

Contract with an agent and not with the owner? Alarm bells shld have gone off. Only the person owning the property can rent out. "Agent" is just an appointed link between you & the owner because owner isn't in Thailand.

It sounds good at 1st sight. But on closer look still lots of ??? Having to live in a country for 21 days before travelling. Does this mean I cannot fly out from an airport in a neighboring country? Live in Austria but closest airport is in Germany 2h away. Does anybody have any knowledge how to deal with this?

Entry with quarantine, 5 days + PCR test. But stop the silly CoE, ThailandPass staff resp. offer a 1 off yes/no instead of 2step process. Ppl will do it when it is easy with concise explanation.

And masks & distancing is still in place in Portugal. Nobody complains about wearing one.

Plenty hollow heads from "low risk" UK will come. They can't wait apparently from what I see on social media. Pandemic has ended for them with 50thou new infections and 200+ deaths.

Iceland restarted. There is no case of serious myocarditis. all vaccination caused cases healed without problem.

From what I know it is 21 days. Planned to apply from Germany but 21days was the issue. Singapore the same.

Would TH have more cases if they tested more? Little Austria with 8.5 mio ppl did 179.000 PCR tests yesterday. Infektion approx 2.000. 62% vaxxed. We are not on the "list" it appears. Question: how do you determine low risk?

Austria with 8.5 mill population does more than 100.000 tests daily. Average infections about 2000. Work out the real no. in Thailand.

Travel agent told me not to bother with Thailand unless I return longterm. Regulations are too involved. Guess TAT isn't interested in opinion of ppl who sell holidays.
