That seems to be how Thai democracy matures. Or should I say rots.

I have never seen Thais having a one on one fight, it is always two or more on one, cowardly race of men.

Agree, but whatever it is the Police should be hunting them down, charging them with assault and they should have their day in court.

If no Police intervention and they get away with it what next for them?

Imagine them reading the online forums and seeing what the Police said to the victim! They will just be laughing. No fear of any consequences for their actions, now or in the future.

I think most people are missing the point here. Two points actually... First point is that his biggest promise about freezing public transport fare for 3 years has already been broken after a month or so yet he takes it upon himself to decide what people are allowed to look at. He made a statement to the effect of "I have teenage daughters and I don't want them seeing these adverts. So because he doesn't want his daughter seeing adverts nobody else can? Second point. This now follows his ideology... My daughters only eat Halal so everybody else has to (or turn it on it's head and say, my daughters cannot eat non-badly-slaughtered animals so nobody else can)?

It's not called Londinistan without a reason...

They always go on about "Quality" tourists. Maybe it is time they started with getting "Quality" locals. It is behoped the police get these guys and put them away for life and then some. Better would be a shoot out were these guys are removed.

I'm amazed that everybody here is shocked that Thais don't know Muhammad Ali. They also don't know who Hitler, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, The Pope or Mussolini is/was! Ali was a boxer, and Muay Thai is the sport of Thailand, not boxing. Most westerners have not heard of Baukaw or Senchai or Thaksin. Why is everybody so shocked and insulted?

40 baht is hardly going to break the bank is it? A lot of people here seem to be confused. The fee is for foreign tourists, not foreign people wanting to engage in "religious beliefs". And as for dual pricing, do you think Thai tourists really want to go into a Wat to nose around? There will be a cost involved to places, especially after coach loads of Chinese go visiting! Seems to me, the only people bothered about this are expats living here who will never visit anyway, far more interesting to invest 40 baht in a beer Chang at the local mud hut! I paid for myself and my daughter to visit Hexham Abbey not so long ago and it was a lot more than 40 baht. If I was going in to worship, no cost.

You obviously not been in Thailand very long or you would know it refers to anyone who is not Thai. Maybe you need to learn a bit more about Thailand as your post demonstrates very limited understanding of the country.
